Team talks please help

I have played football manager for about 20 years when the team talks got introduced i always could get a good reaction. Even at the beggining of this 13 i did but i just started a new game with Newcastle and i cant get 1 and i mean 1 positive response!

Has the latest update affected anything? No matter what i do i just cant get a good response! please help

If its a new game then it will take a while for the players to get used to you / respect you. Even if you are an ex-international, but particularly if sunday league / semi pro. It takes time for them to "like" you.
