for years in ireland it was shamrock rovers, they were the manchester united of ireland, and in the 70s were a team on the rise. however they were homeless for like 20 years or somethin but now have the best stadium in league and won the league for first time in years last season. theyw ere wven in division 1 for a season

because they cheated

Real Sociedad,Celta de Vigo,Borussia Dortmun (this season has been their best in like 10 years),Psv,Anderlecht,Juventus, leeds

in america teams like

Boca juniors and River plate they are playing really bad
they only hold to first division cause of the weird relegation sistem in argentina :@

Deportive Alaves. In 1999 they were in the top league in Spain beating Barcelona twice and losing 5-4 to Liverpool in the Uefa Cup final. Now they are in the 3rd tier of Spanish football.

Yeah, was gonna say Boca and River just now. Relegation system here sucks balls.

Deportivo La Coruna, were regulars in the champions league at the start of the decade, this year they are fighting relegation

I think the biggest fall from grace was Luton, formerly a championship team, now down in the conference.

Boavista in Portugal, although they aren't in the top division now.

They are a semi-pro side right now.

I have take them from the last division to the first in about 4-6 year in the patch 1.02,

great fun. But then go trounced by the big guns in the first division. Got a Euro league spot on at

least two years.

Deportivo la Coruna had a pretty decent team in the early 2000s have not heard much of them since

As LukeCro said, Hajduk Split has completely fallen. Although they were there in the title runs for all these 2 decades Croatia exists, they have fallen, especially in the last 6 years. Why have they fallen? Due to awful management, always financial crisises, bad player signings, team managers/coaches change about twice per season. Seriously, the only two clubs in Croatia which don't have these problems are their arch-rivals Dinamo Zagreb and city rivals RNK Split(who have due to these points but good in 4 seasons got from fourth league to first and are third).

Feyenoord has completely fallen apart. Still too good to be relegated but they're getting there. Ajax is still a force domestically so I disagree with that. Genk of the pro league has fallen pretty far as well. They're a mid table club now. They won at the league in 99 and 2001 but have been pretty much mid table since.

Leeds and Newcastle - 10 yrs ago they were title/top 4 challengers and it was impossible to think they'd be relegated. Look what happenned.

Swindon Town, ex premiership now facing the same situation as Bradford. Its funny to think 10 months ago Swindon were in the play off final and now they are fighting relegation.

Juventus, Deportivo, Hajduk Split, Stuttgart, PSG, Monaco, Galatasaray, Feyenoord, Lokomotiv Moscow, Sporting Lisbon, Auxerre, Steaua, River Plate, Parma, Olympiakos, Boca Juniors, Zurich, Ferencvaros ... and lot more, in second/third divisions like Leeds, Nottm Forest, Boavista, Celta Vigo, Alaves, Hertha Berlin, Munchen 1860, Torino, Verona, Betis

Real Betis, but they're not in the top division anymore.

Preston, Leeds, Nottm Forest, M'boro, Galatasaray, Boca Juniors, Sivasspor, Liverpool.

FC Haka in the Finnish Veikkausliiga.

Financial troubles almost got us near relegation.
