I hope its just myself but I am having a really bad time of it with FM14 so far. The last couple of FMs have taken a little bit of time to get used to particularly 13 although once I got the hang of it I thought it was great but had some flaws none the less. However the problems I have incurred so far are ridiculous. 1) Injuries. FM13 was bad for this in my opinion but so far I have managed three clubs and they have been ravaged by injury. The training is not too demanding and I am rotating as best I can but still I can barely field a team and am playing lots of players out of position. 2) Red cards. I am getting one every two games at the minimum even though tactics have been altered to stand off and stay on feet etc but it makes no difference. 3) Goals. All of a sudden all the opposition keepers have turned into extra ordinary shot stoppers as a result I can barely score any goals. 4) Tactical understanding. Why is this now taking so long? Am out the door before I can get fluid in one tactic let alone three. The only thing that happened when we trained harder is we got more injuries. 5) The AMC is again utterly ineffective. 6) Players ignoring individual instruction. They mostly just do their own thing which doesn't work!! There are more problems that I have encountered but cant be bothered going over them. Think I will leave the playing for a while but will read on here what other users find. For me so far its not playable at all but it must be said the new tactics system is smart and clear. Team instructions and individual player instructions are a simple clever way of doing it. It doesn't work but its smart!!
