1. Introduction
I am fairly new to this game and I have found this forum on the web. This is my first post. I was looking for a good tactic for my Manutd save. But there are so many threads and opinions that I decided to test some of the most discussed tactics myself. Of course I noticed that a_ilfandy does some impressive testing, but I wanted a specific tactic form my Manutd-team, so I used a slightly different approach.
2. Set up:
I have saved the game and I have played this same save with 6 different tactics. To get some consistency I played the same match 10 times with every tactic. (So 60 matches with the same save).
I played away with Manutd against Spurs in December 2012. The tactics were fairly familiar.
3. Tactics Used
- Nezza (Nezza thread); this is a classic tactic
- Modern Warfare
- Modern Warfare converted to classic
- Kiss (Modern Warfare thread)
- JP Woody’s Conte Style
- King Jassar (mix of Modern Warfare and Kiss); see Modern Warfare thread
With the exception of the JP Woody-tactic I have used the same players for each tactic
4. Results (average of 10 matches)
5. Conclusions
- Possession in Kiss and Woody is lower. Seem to be more defensive tactics
- For my team King Jassar seems to perform the best, followed by Nezza
- Kiss and Woody don’t perform that well (but probably I don’ t have the right players for the Woody-tactic)
- I don’t understand why the classic Warfare seem to perform differently from the original one
6. Final comment
I noticed that luck is an important factor, just as in normal soccer. With the same tactic I can win 2-0, but also loose 0-3. That makes it difficult to compare different tactics. But is also part of the fun playing this game.
I will continue my save with the King Jassar tactic.
