Went with Hughes, need some english players, my squad starting to look like Argentina U21...

Played two matches, not doing so well actually, i'll give him time
 
One guy to consider doing a conversion on is Oliver. He has sick stats in my save - 18 dribbling, 18 first touch, 18 passing, 19 technique, 19 vision, 19 flair etc. His natural position is AMC but he is already an accomplished MC. He's a young 20 year old wonderkid from Porto. Might be worth it for you. 20.5m release clause.
 
Try playing him in the Regista if you can. He won't score much but he is an excellent passer with great vision for launching an attacks.
 
If you are going English, Hughes is pretty good. I feel that Ward-Prowse is slightly higher quality, but probably significantly more expensive. Other English midfielders to look for on the cheaper end include Cook and Thorne.
 
Out of curiosity how much is Cristante worth from Benfica there are some cases where he can be cheap not having first team football. He is one of the best Roaming Playmakers i have seen.
