I'll just do that then. It'll be a few years before I even get to that point. In my 9 season Spurs save on FM14, I was the manager for the U21's forever. So we'll see.
We only played four games this month, and managed to win one. Yeah, it wasn't a good month. We're starting to lose momentum at the wrong time. We might of started off too strong. We barely beat Boston United, and that took everything we had basically. I'm not making any excuses, I still take the blame for everything. I'm going to get the boys motivated for the remaining two months of the season. Wish me luck!
Another lopsided month. Two wins, two losses. I want us to fight for that guaranteed promotion, but I would be happy with a playoff spot. I'm going to push the boys hard these last five games. It all comes down to this. Do we have it in us?
We lost it. We lost the mindset. A 6-2 loss to Brackley at home, who was 20th in the table, really screwed our chances at a playoff spot. It setup a win to get in against Tamworth, the league leaders. We got smashed 5-2. I don't know what happened. We just started to lose games, and we unraveled. The club did offer me a contact extension though. Hopefully next year we can stay strong throughout the season. Bring on the offseason.
Solid preseason. Didn't face any tough teams really. Stockport Sports came out of nowhere and thrashed us though. Morale is up, fitness is good, squad harmony maxed out, we're looking forward to the first month of season 2 football. We're predicted to finish 8th this season, but I'm shooting for a promotion.
As you can see by the transfer history, we didn't do much. We lost players due to either them not wanting to resign, or a bigger club came knocking and scooped them up. Nothing we can do about either. We did bring in Cameron Mason, a goalie from Nuneaton on a free. Currently, we have a fake player as goalie, and yeah. Not trying to have a season where a fake goalie is in net for us.
That's it for now. I'll be back once we get through August!
Uh, not a good start to the second year campaign. Absolute horrid start. To get thrashed 8-nil at home is utterly embarrassing. We did pick it up after that though. A 3-3 draw against Ashton United away, and to end the month at home with a 5-2 win was huge for our confidence. Hopefully September brings us better results.
We managed to turn it around this month. Six games played, and we walked away with four wins and two losses. We started off the month with a 2-nil loss against North Ferriby, both their goals being 40-yard ridiculous volleys. After that, we managed to rattle off two league wins against AFC Fylde and Worcester, eking past Worcester for the three points. After that we got battered 4-1 by Hednesford at home. I hate taking these embarrassing losses at home. Absolutely hate it. After that though, we had two games we controlled dominantly, picking up three more points in advancing in the FA Cup qualifying stages. Hopefully we can keep this up!
