Great pick-up for a great price.

That's the man I was worried Utd would target. But they've madly , to me, decided to roll with an inexperienced 18-year-old. It intrigues me that Arteta has again gone defensive. I mean it adds to the depth. And his versatility shores up the LB role if that's how they go. But where Arsenal are most in need is midfield and forward depth.

Great deal for an excellent player. Just not sure it was the deal Arsenal needed?
