anybody else getting annoyed with wengers transfer policy ? no trophy in years so it must tell him something , if fabregas wants to go dont stand in his way , im an arsenal fan and even i think he is well overrated, if barcelona come in with 45 million should accept it then put it straight to new signings, gervinho is availible for 8 million and he is class, miche bastos probz be availible for bout 20 million , bastos is unbelivably good can play literally anywere and thats the player we need, someone who can score out of nothing, we havent really had a player like that since henry left :/ a good goalie, 2 strong centrebacks and a goal scorer to go up front with van persie and were sorted , sakho from PSG would be a great signing apparently availible for 12 mill so arsene needs to get his a*s into the transfer market ASAP![]()
Apparently Arsenal had an offer for Jones accepted, spoke to him last night and were prepared to offer a bigger wage than Man Utd but he still rejected Arsenal due to "north west connection and footballing reasons"
RVP is very lucky not to get injured. Just escaped a horrible tackle, luckily didnt make enough contact. Two footed, went in hard, dont know who the Uruguayan defender was, looked like Lugano (Not sure). Would have broken leg into 2 easily..

Wow, source?
Matt Lawton (Daily Express)
If its true then it proves that Wenger is actually prepared to splash money on young English talent![]()
Finally! Even the first bit is promising, "Splash money".
But I doubt it's true.

It's true - Reported on young guns and northbanklower too.
Still not convinced he's what we need, though. "Experienced CB" suddenly turns into just an English one it seems. He's 19 - while everyone's slamming Wenger for not signing Jones and not doing enough (Matt Law says AW did "all he could"), they also criticise him for signing Jenkinson, who's the same age. You can't have your cake and eat it too - Jones money better spent on Cahill - although I'd prefer someone around 27/8. Someone with real experience who can stand in when needed and move aside when Bartley's ready because that boy is going to be very good in the future IMO.

Who has that sort of experience of the premiership, good enough to compete with Verm & Kos and would be willing to rotate, and available? Hangelaand? Samba at a push? I'm not sure experience is key, but more a physical presence and organisation perhaps. Vermaelen was so badly missed last year, it'll be like a new signing when he returns.
P.S. Did I mention that Sakho is a God
I'd take either Hangeland or Samba in a heartbeat. But you're not wrong about Vermaelen, the only one of our defenders I trust can mark at a set-piece.
PS: Never seen Sakho play, but with all this hype he couldn't possibly be bad, could he?
