if we can convince Barca board Tiago IS better Cesc will be a gunner for life ;)

Love how the whole reasoning behind his argument is that the Spain U21's passed to him. He can't watch Fabregas very much if he thinks his passing is better, too.

Evidently the guy doesn't understand the concept of 'playmaker'. :P

Big Arsenal transfer news at 1Am according to the Mirror. Some sort of Bullshit exclusive about Messi or something.

Or perhaps another story on Fabregas.

I know... Absolutely ridiculous. Funniest was the bit about Cesc not being able to handle the big-games. Sure, he got an assist in the World Cup Final, but ANYONE can do that. And sure, he scored the first goal against A.C. Milan to help Arsenal become the first team to win at the San Siro, and yes: He scored the winning penalty in the European Championships QF and got 2 assists in the Semi-Final, but Thiago could do that if he wanted to..

Hmm. According to sources that aren't entirely clear but seem to come from the Guardian, Barca have bid £39m for Cesc. (£35M + add-ons) and according to an account called "Just Arsenal News" (which no one reliable follows), it's "definitely accepted". BS if you ask me. Would be surprised if they offered that amount and I'm not sure I'd take it anyway. Push for £45m - they clearly DO have money. They just don't want to spend it on Cesc.

Thiago can do that with his eyes closed I'l have you know ;)

35M for Cesc is an absolute steal. If we sell him for that the board really should be sacked.

Whether he plays for a season or not. It's still 15M or nothing money-wise..

not really, they may decide to pay more if they want him that badly, point is that 15m doesnt guarantee Vidal

Not really, the point is, it's a knock down price or nothing.

sigh, dont think you see the point, it all comes down to how badly they want him now... 15m is still no guarantee...

I hate the transfer window.

Now that I've got that out there, I want us to sign whoever we're going to sign ASAP and then just switch off my computer for the rest of the summer so I don't have to tune in to the 'Fabregas Saga' and rumours about X, Y and Z players every day.

With you on that, Twitter has made me hate it more than ever. I just want our business done and away from the circus

As for Fabregas, sadly that will only end when he goes, United fans know this all too well

The Transfer Saga is good if your team has all the players it needs/wants. Otherwise its extremely frustrating, especially as an Arsenal fan when your linked with players like Mata Etc and you just know he will sign some-one like Stewart Downing(I don't rate him at all).

Firstly, I think that's harsh on Downing.

Secondly, more that we're linked with EVERY player and when we don't get them, there's always someone saying "WTF Iz Arsene doingz?!ElEV3n" and then there's three players being linked strongly with moves away (that I give a toss about) with speculation only increasing every time it's a slow day in the office.

And Barcastuff is just the most annoying account ever if you're an Arsenal fan with a nervous disposition.

And we are the only English team to win at SanSiro ;)

Apparently that bid is true. Barca do have more money than they are saying, they are overplaying their issues in the hope of winning players over by sheer reputation, very sly and quite clever
