2014 I think. The problem for him will be that the pressure will be really great at the end of next season if we don't win anything again. He is fiercely loyal though. He's turned down Real Madrid and Man City previously.

Wenger's not the type to walk out. He loves the club and will do everything to turn it around - if he doesn't do it this year, he'll do it next year; if he doesn't do it next year, he'll do it the year after. He won't walk away from what he's got, and the only way he'll go is if the board show him the door.
 
He'll retire in 2014. That's pretty much when the 10 year plan comes to fruition, and hopefully by then we'll have a winning squad at their peak with plenty of potential - hopefully he'll become a director or something so the new manager continues the policy and continues to work with younger players etc.

Not a chance imo that when he retires, we'll go for a big-name manager like Mourinho etc.

Good news, although I still think 110k p/w or thereabouts is a bit steep.

But we really have to keep this squad of players together, or everything we've done in the past 6 years has been for nothing. 20K really isn't a lot - let's learn our lesson from offering contracts too late and give him what his first half of the season more than merited. Harsh to blame him for not turning up after Christmas when a) he went out injured, b) was forced out of position and c) Did what nearly everyone else in the squad did; got tired, complacent, lost confidence and lost form. Cesc wasn't great for the second part of the season - would you offer him a new deal? Szczesny? I would.
 
in fairness, not sure he would get 110k at united either if thats his angle
 
Those kinds of wages are exclusive to Ashley Young and co? ;)
