They both remind of the Fifa goals idiots like to score when you are beating them 5-0 with 5 minutes to go.

As people can tell i dont usally have anything nice to say about Arsenal or Arsene Wenger for that matter but..... The signing of Gervinho is an absolute master class and he will score 15+goals next season for Arsenal mark my words.

You've been a father for what, 2 days? And you're already becoming all sensitive and friendly with your rivals?!

In a couple years you'll be building houses for the homeless and caring for the sick at this rate!

Nani at it again about Nasri.

"I've talked a lot with him in the holidays and told him how great it is to play for Manchester United and how important it would be for him to become one of the biggest players in the world," he said.
"I don't know how negotiations are at the moment, but he has a lot of clubs interested in him and he has to think.
"I just told him how good it would be for him coming here. He will have a nice welcome, and I can help as well because I'm French."

Couldn't beat Barca in the Champions League, so he'll try out-talking them about Arsenal players :S

It's part of a whole article, hardly "at it again"

Although United lodged a £20 million bid for Nasri last month, manager Sir Alex Ferguson fears the 24 year-old favours a move to the Etihad Stadium with Manchester City prepared to outbid United, both in wages and transfer fee, in order to sign the Frenchman from Arsenal.

But with Nasri’s future unresolved due to Arsène Wenger’s attempts to hand the player a new contract to replace the final 12 months of his current deal - an offer so far rejected by Nasri - Evra has urged his France team-mate to put glory first.

“Of course I would like to see Samir at United,” Evra said. “I’ve talked a lot with him during the holiday and told him how great it is to play for Manchester United and how important it would be for him to become one of the biggest players in the world.

“He said that it’s a privilege that a club like Man United want him, but that he has to think about his future and talk with his agent. I’m not Nasri, I’m not his agent or his dad, but I would definitely tell him to come to Man United. Definitely.

“I remember I made that little joke saying that he’s a prince now, but if he wants to be the king then he has to join Man United. But that’s the reality and I’ve told him that. I said: ‘If you want to win trophies you have to come here.’ In five years I’ve won 12 trophies, and I don’t know if I’d have won more with another club.

“I just told him the truth. If he goes to City, it’s his choice, but I know, as a player, if I have Manchester United and Manchester City, I would go straightaway for United.

“It’s a lot of things. It can be for the money, many different things. But I would prefer to go for the glory. I don’t know how negotiations are at the moment, but he has a lot of clubs [interested in him] and he has to think.
“But we will have a nice welcome [at United] and I can help as well because I’m French, but I don’t know what he’s going to do.”

While Evra’s attempts to thwart City’s move for Nasri could prove futile, the 30 year-old claims he is not surprised that former United team-mate and close friend Carlos Tévez wants to leave City.

“Two or three years ago he [Tévez] told me: ‘Pat, maybe one day I’ll be back in South America.’
“I said: ‘Carlito, you’re young.’ But he said: ‘Yeah, but I’ve won everything. I want to go back closer to my family and play in my country.’

“Now I know he wasn’t lying and he is doing what he told me three years ago, and I’m not surprised at all.
“I’m very close to Carlito and even when he was playing for United when he was 23 or 24, he told me that another two years in the UK and he would be back in Argentina.

“I was surprised, but when he told me that he’d won everything I didn’t have anything to say to him.”

Following the retirement of Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Edwin van der Sar at the end of last season, Evra now finds himself a senior figure within Ferguson’s squad, who arrived in New York on Sunday and will face the MLS All-Stars on Wednesday.

But Evra admits he was determined to leave Old Trafford 12 months ago before Ferguson’s attempt to change his mind.
Evra said: “Sometimes you have to make a choice in your life and there was an approach from two big clubs, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, and I just had a chat about it with the boss.

“After the World Cup, I’d told him that I wanted to go, but when I went to his house we talked a lot and in the end he didn’t have to persuade me to stay because my heart wanted to stay.

“He just said: ‘Pat, it’s the greatest news you want to stay because United are the biggest club in the world and you have a lot of respect here for myself, your team-mates, the fans. I don’t know why you want to move to another club. But I think you’ve made the right choice to stay here.’

“I’m very close to Sir Alex and have a lot of respect for him, and a lot of respect for myself. It wasn’t anything incredible, it was just normal. The boss has to be the boss, but he also has to look like he’s the dad of every player.
“In the end I made the right choice and I’m so happy to still be a Man United player. It was an easy decision because, if I was honest with myself, I knew I wanted to stay at this club achieve more.”

Fair enough. Should of got a better source than F365 who clearly cut out the bits they wanted.

I like that line.

Wenger must blast Evra for being disrespectful aswell.

Lots of articles do that these days.

In fairness, I'd rather he'd didn't talk about it too much anyway. I know our offer is still on the table

Haha:

Arseblog News understand that Patrice Evra has called time on his career with Manchester United so that he can focus fully on his role as Samir Nasri’s spokesperson. The former France international, who has spent the summer living with Barcelona-based mentors Xavi and Carlos Puyol, is thought to be the first player to sacrifice the rigours of life in the Premier League in order to selflessly help a peer achieve his own personal goal of kicking a football for riches unknown to the common man.

Nasri is believed to have called on the services of Evra after spending the summer being forced to play pre-season football at gun point. Trafficked to London by Arsene Wenger in 2008 the playmaker is desperate to escape the clutches of his evil, silver-haired compatriot as soon as possible.

Eager to aid his client in breaking free of the shackles of a privileged life in one of the world’s great cities, Evra made told The Sun that he would do everything possible to see Nasri fill his place at Manchester United.

“I’ve talked a lot with him in the holidays and told him how great it is to play for Manchester United and how important it would be for him to become one of the biggest players in the world,” said the representative.

“I remember I made that little joke saying that he’s a prince now but if he wants to be the king then he has to join Man United.
“But that’s the reality – and I’ve told him that. I said, ‘If you want to win trophies, you have to come here’.

“In five years I’ve won 12 trophies and I don’t know if I’d have won more than that with another club. So I just told him the truth.

“I don’t know how negotiations are at the moment but he has a lot of clubs interested in him and he has to think.

“I just told him how good it would be for him coming here. He will have a nice welcome and I can help as well because I’m French.

“We’ve spoken a lot in the summer and also when we met up for friendly games with France at the end of the season. It was looking interesting but I don’t know, we’ll have to see.”

Reflecting on the possibility that the star man on his client roster could shun a move to Old Trafford in favour of earning a gazillion pound contract at Manchester City, Evra attempted to maintain a straight face before suggesting that ‘gloire’ should be the driving ambition of a man who has spent his career scratching around in the lower echelons of the Premier League.

“If he goes to City it’s his choice. But I know, as a player, if I have Manchester United and Manchester City, I’d go straight away for United.

“It can be for the money. But I’d prefer to go for the glory. He said it’s a privilege a club like United want him but he has to think about his future and talk with his agent [me].”

It's the same as what Xavi etc. are doing - it only serves to **** Arsenal off and make Wenger even more determined not to sell to Utd. And of course it's not the first time he's talked about Arsenal and our players looking for a reaction after he texted Nasri telling him to come to Utd.

Its not even close to what Xavi and co did. He never talked about how Nasri is suffering at Arsenal and bla bla bla.

Nasri is looking to move, Evra is just suggesting the place to move. Nothing wrong, but still I would like Evra not to talk about this..

Texting and telling other players to join the team is nothing new. It happens all the time..

Of course he did, Patrice. Now move along and keep your mouth shut.
