got the new away top today, really like it got Wilshere 19 on the back :)

I do actually believe that this is the year that Fabregas leaves us, I said it last Summer as well that it'd be this transfer market. But not because of this rumours, just a feeling.

Has he not yet recovered from his injury that kept him out of the training camps?

No idea. Young Guns claims he's been training normally for a while now but I remain sceptical. Not sure why Wenger would deny it (although he admitted negotiations). Definitely don't think he's "on strike" as the Spanish press seem to think but he could well be on his way.

Isn't the 10 day deadline Arsenal apparently gave Barca to sign him almost up? As far as I know, they haven't made a second bid and there's no way we'll let him go for £27m.

lmao:

Arsenal fans suffered a serious scare today when it was revealed that Jack Wilshere was to share the cover of FIFA 12 with Wayne Rooney. The latest installment of EA’s popular football game – in which you can play online against anyone in the world provided they’re Barcelona, Real Madrid or Inter – features Wilshere in Arsenal’s new away kit, alongside a picture of Rooney who is bellowing for monster reinforcements as he prowls the wastelands for food.

Arsenal fans might well be worried about the placement of the sensational midfielder beside United’s talismanic yet girthy striker. Last season Carlos Vela featured on the cover US version of the popular football game – in which you can be winning an online game by two goals with ’15′ minutes to go only to have your only opponent quit almost every single time – along with Kaka and Landon Donovan.

Subsequently Kaka has become terrible, Vela ended up on loan at West Brom and Landon Donovan remains Landon Donovan.
FIFA 12 is out in September and fans of the game will be looking forward to the collision engine and the new features which will allow online players to pretend to lose their internet connection every time they’re losing.

Wilshere and the Emirates. ;) !!!!!

This is good news like we've never had before!

According to @Johncrossmirror #AFC have agreed a £17m move for Mata, will fight to keep Fabregas and has increased bid for #EFC Jagielka

John Cross is a reputable journalist and Arsenal fan, with solid links to the club and people inside it. He's also done work for Arsenal TV before, so should be fairly reliable - even if it's not ALL true.

Mata rumours really gathering pace now - Valencia deny it, but Guillem Belague (sp?) says a bid is imminent & from there Valencia/Mata (who wants out acc to most Spanish sources) will decide whether to go with mandatory wage-rise at Valencia or accept Arsenal offer.

Would be a real bargain if we get him for anything like that tbh.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

that is all.

Best part is...I think Mata might be able to convince Fabregas to stay in a weird Cliched way. They both spend alot of time together...Sitting on the bench for Spain.

(I take it back!)

Brilliant signing, keep Andrei around and get rid of Bendtner/Eboue and jobs a good 'un. Oh and buy Vertonghen. Then the job is complete...

i have heard NB is off to Sporting Lisbon and Eboue to Galatasary (SP)

so we might have our best summer ever

In Arsene we Trust.

Don't get ahead of yourself! We all know how quickly an Arsenal rumour turns to dust all too often!

lol i know its just a rumour but still imagine if we got Mata !

Was listening to his interview on talksport earlier and he said that an €18m was imminent from Arsenal and that meant that meant that Valencia would have to either sell him...or up his salary by 700,000 (ridiculously crazy **** right there)

99% certain I heard correct. It was definitely in the hundred thousands. Must be one of those ridiculous ones like with the 800m release clauses etc...

A pity most people, and I'll have to include myself there, only remember him for the CC blunder.

Are you ****-tarted?

The man Guilerme Balosque (or whatever his name is I can't spell it) said it himself and I heard him. If he came on SkySportsNews and said it would you believe him? I think so.

Could mean a 700k increase on his yearly salary?

ahh okay. now its clear. but wow that a lot 700k

If it is an extra 700k a year, that would be about 13.5k a week more for him. You'd think Valencia could afford that but I'm unsure whether Mata would accept a new contract with an option to go to Arsenal. On top of that, Valencia are always in financial trouble so you can never really tell with them. Will be a great deal for Arsenal if it goes through, a record transfer fee for them?

Hey guys, been away on hols for 2 weeks. Anyone give me a brief sum up of what's been going on, Transfers, Pre-Season performances, injuries etc.
