Think they'll both do well. Would like to see Botelho at Arsenal when he gets his Visa, but we haven't offered him a new contract yet and it runs out next season. Think he's a top player... Reminds me of Bale (but better ;))

Heard its his official facebook page, verified and all.. Dont know much..
 
Vela is good but I don't think he is well-suited for the EPL. Spain probably is the place for him. Btw, that facebook apparently belonging to Samir Nasri shows that he is a fan of Andres Iniesta and Pep Guardiola.

Still remember his carling cup performance against Wigan (?) where he scored hat trick with one delightful chip.. Shame he never got it going, big talent like Gio Dos Santos..

ArsenalFrance say it's his official FB page, but since then seem to have back-tracked a little to "Who knows? [whether it's real] We'll see." Get the feeling it's fake, but could be wrong. He's in big trouble if it's not, though.

Yeah but he's too one-dimensional. As a proper youngster, he looked excellent... Young players with skill/flair and pace always look good, but it rarely guarantees he will be a good player. I think Joel Campbell transfer and Afobe's promotion could be final nail on the coffin for him. But Wenger is always willing to give chances to players - if he does well in la liga, he may come back and do well.
 
Vela will not play with too many better wingers than Prieto/Griezmann, if he doesn't succeed next season in that team which plays it's football on the ground and in the right way then I really can't see him ever coming good.

As you all said above he's very one dimensional, top quality finisher but his positioning is too hit and miss as well as lacking the extra dimension that similar players have. Exciting team to watch next season with that front 3 no doubt about it...

He will either score 5 next season or 20, this will have to be the making for him IMO.

Always liked Vela for some unknown reason.. Maybe I had big success with him in one of FIFA series :P

Hopefully he does well where ever he goes..
 
Vela is a very good player but he might not be suited to the Prem (similar to Gio dos Santos). A loan move to Spain is perfect. If he does well and establishes himself than maybe he can come back to England and succeed. It's too bad he hasn't had a breakout year yet but he could still be a good player.

but i have seen Vela play more better. nvr seen GI Santo play at all.

dude, it Gold cup is just Big in North america. the face that Spurs are not ussing him, it more like he's in the shadown , and like in FM, he's not good for the team.

He is good enough. For some reason Harry dont rate him. He was very good in World cup too and also his loan spell in La Liga.

During the official presentation of Cesc Fabregas as a new FC Barcelona player, Josep Maria Bartomeu, who accompanied the player along with the Director of Professional Football, Andoni Zubizarreta, detailed the specific figures of the player’s transfer from Arsenal. He explained that the transfer of Cesc closed at 29 million Euros, half to be paid now and the rest in September. His contract is for five years and the buyout clause has been set at 200 million Euros.

In addition there is an agreement with Arsenal that in the hypothetical case that Barça win two League titles and one Champions League title with Cesc’s participation, the English club would receive a bonus of 5 million Euros, two for each League title and one for the Champions League.

Additional effort by the player
In this regard, and after giving general thanks to "all the people from Barça who have put in effort to complete this signing" he gave special thanks to the attitude of the player. As explained by the Vice President of the Sporting Area, during the first five seasons Cesc will give up one million Euros per year, which will be paid to Arsenal. "We really have to thank Cesc for the effort he’s made to come here" he said. Along the same lines, and after pointing out that FC Barcelona’s financial limitations have been "the biggest brake" in negotiations with Arsenal, Bartomeu stressed that "the final push was given by the player".

"Reaching agreement with him was easy. He really wanted to come, but obviously Arsenal didn’t want a great player like him to leave. The negotiations began after the Champions League Final. The 29 million Euros is the figure we’ve maintained from the outset, but it’s clear that the push that Cesc gave has been very important to make his signing a reality" he added.

Finally, Bartomeu confirmed that, although the signing has been a lot more complicated than initially expected, throughout the negotiations FC Barcelona has achieved "the normalisation of relationships with Arsenal.
