that is quite interesting and it does make a lot of sense as to why we haven't gone out and brought players like cahill, samba, dann.
personally i don't really think wenger is the problem, maybe it is the board being stingy with wages?

But Wilshere is more direct and a pretty good dribbler. He might be more effective at AMC.
I'm not sure it is. Not saying its 100% accurate but something is going on behind the scenes.
Wilshere has the style to be effective in either position.

I agree, he can play DMC, CM, AMC. Pretty much anywhere in the centre of the park.
Think that's harsh on Ramsey. He needs playing-time, not time spent warming the bench. The problem last year clearly wasn't our formation and general tactics; we beat Barca, Utd and Chelsea with the basic 4-2-3-1 tactic, so why change a winning formula? Obviously there are problems but more problematic was our failure to defend (and score from) set-pieces, hold onto leads and our capitulation after the CC final. Ramsey is the most similar player to Cesc we have, and Wilshere was brilliant from deep last season. Why change Wilshere's role after he was so good? He just needs to improve finishing and he'll do even better.
If that article about the board and Wenger being at loggerheads is true, then going to make the season a lot worse off-field. This could split the club right down the middle both internally and the fan base.
I think they disagree on Nasri, but everyone is crying out for someone to challenge Wenger then when they do, it's "Arsenal in crisis, board and manager disagree"
