I think they disagree on Nasri, but everyone is crying out for someone to challenge Wenger then when they do, it's "Arsenal in crisis, board and manager disagree"

The Nasri thing has been long running though, i believe it's something because things are very strained. Also i'd love to get clarification on the Mata pullout because that should have happened, im starting to wonder if its over that. That should have been sealed

yann plays more like a holding Mid IMO much like makelele.

i would let song and wilshere play below ramsey. tbh

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has warned Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger that he will abandon his pursuit of Samir Nasri if the midfielder plays against Udinese on Wednesday. (the Times)

Good.

Couple of things from that article - people want Wenger to be challenged, and then when he is, Arsenal are in "crisis" because there are disagreements and someone is challenging Wenger. Make your mind up.

1. Seriously doubt that Wenger wants to offer current players 150K/week - the wage-structure didn't just appear out of nowhere, it - like pretty much every other aspect of the club - is because of Wenger.

2. He may not be 'lying' when he says he'd spent £40m on one player, he certainly seems to be bending the truth. He would do it if they didn't command excessive wages (which they will do when costing around the £30m mark) and if it was the right player but he's not really likely to find that player... Certainly not in the next 10 days. He said our target range was between £15-30m, I think we'll go to max. £25m at a push for one player and we're not very likely to even do that - I guess the article is spot on there, though they don't need "Inside knowledge" to know that.

3. "The Board had no problem meeting the Juan Mata transfer fee, but once Chelsea let it be known to his agents what they would offer, it blew Arsenal’s contract offer out of the water." <-- Sounds like Chelsea. We would've met the conditions of the first asking price but we clearly had to wait for when Xavi wanted to sign him, not when we wanted to sell him (if we were to sell him at all obviously).

4. The last bit is just bollocks. Wenger isn't black-mailing the ******* board - ridiculous suggestion.

5. The story comes from the most amateur looking site in the world, called "The Football Network". Highly doubt he has reliable inside sources, but I could be wrong.

Just got the opportunity to watch the liverpool match...

My eyes bled.

They were full of injuries and suspensions. If Ignasi Miquel didn't give that own goal then the match would have been very different. Most likely a 0-0 draw.

You bought this Ethopian kid? He's only 14 years old!
