I remember in fm10 United and Chelsea were mid table in the championship and City won the League 10 years running or something like that.

One time I found Liverpool at 17th. And Bolton was tailing on my back at 2nd :S They even beat Man U 2-0!
Old save though, before the first patch, so really I can't show it anymore

Roy ALWAYS does well for LFC on my saves, Strange

I get tbe samething on mine, they always manage to end up second or third on my games with Hodgson. I've had my career that has been going on for some years now and none of the big teams have really failed so bad so far. Only disappointment I saw when I checked it during the years were Man City, they ended up on 10th place after one season with Harry Redknapp...

I think it probably has something to do with the fact that the afformentioned clubs better players are ageing, and therefore losing some of their stats... such as speed, acceleration, etc... They always tend to make pretty poor signings aswell, resulting in the clubs downfall.

On my save Man U were poor in the first 3 seasons, but the special one took over, and they've been in the top 4 ever since. City are always battling for the title aswell, and always give me a run for my money. Liverpool are atrocious, and Chelsea are starting to come good again after 2 poor seasons. And Arsenal have been on fire for the last 2 seasons, with their younger players coming of age.

As I said, I think it's down to a combination of age and poor/good signings that determine how well these teams perform.
