The Big Rebuild: Club 1- Manchester United

This is another save I will be doing alongside my journeyman save. It is called "The Big Rebuild". In this save, we will rebuild clubs with the goal to win the Champions League. It is either that or get sacked. I will be using the in game editor to pick clubs to rebuild as this is not a usual journeyman save.
 
So here I am, the new manager of Manchester United. My goal will be to win the Champions League. Either that or I am out to rebuild another club.

The first thing I did was trigger the contract extension of Sergio Romero. Hopefully this turns out to be a beneficial move.

I am reshuffling my backroom staff. Here are some of the additions alongside many more soon who will be added and/or replaced.

I have made my first signing for Manchester United and it is 18 year old Czech Republic winger Adam Hlozek from Sparta Prague for 9 million pounds. A step in the right direction as far as transfers are concerned. He is a very exciting player and I can't wait for him to grow.

Matej Kovar, the 20 year old goalkeeper has gone on loan to Plymouth. Hopefully he develops well in the loan spell.

Anthony Elanga has gone on loan to Carlisle. I hope he has a productive loan spell there.

I have made my second signing this season and it is Cristian Pavon, the 24 year old Argentinian winger from Boca Juniors. He has signed for 9 million pounds with the fee rising depending on various clauses. It is similarly structured to the Adam Hlozek deal.

Diogo Dalot has a serious injury. He is out for 4-5 weeks. He is on loan at AC Milan.

Also 17 year old attacking midfielder Charlie Wellens is injured for around 4-6 weeks.

19 year old midfielder Ethan Galbraith has gone on loan to Northampton Town. Hopefully he has a good loan spell there.

Brandon Williams has gone out on loan to Aston Villa. I hope he continues developing there.

Third signing this season. I have bought 23 year old right back Davide Calabria from AC Milan for 15.5 million pounds. Hopefully he can make a big impact at Manchester United.

This is fine. I am open to letting Daniel James go out on loan, but if he is not going on loan he provides competition for places.

4th signing. Denilho Cleonise on loan from Genoa. He is an 18 year old Dutch winger. Hopefully he learns what it is like to be at a club like Manchester United.

Adam Hlozek is going to go out on loan to Bordeaux. Our new signing will be off to develop his game in France and hopefully at the end of the season we can re-assess his situation.

5th signing. Uros Vasic. 18 year old Swiss left winger from Thun for 275k pounds. Hopefully he develops well at the club.

Juan Mata has left Manchester United to go out on loan to Rennes in Ligue 1. We had offers for him to leave so we took it. He can be a great addition for them.

Sergio Romero has left Manchester United to go on loan to Shakhtar in the Ukrainian Premier League. Mandatory future fee is 2.2 million pounds.
