Forced to overpay for a lot of the players..
BTW, lost the first game 3-0 after Shawcross got sent off after 13 minutes, Heskey and debutant Robin Van Persie (2) scored to send us to a crushing defeat.

Ashley Young also been ruled out for 2-3 months :(
 
Anybody else struggling to sell Arshavin and Fabregas? :(
 
I didn't want to, but I haven't got another English CM, and I wanted to keep it as English as possible so left Fabregas on the bench..

Thinking I might change this to the British Arsenal Challenge, so as to get a wider range of player to get and to make it slightly easier.. what does everyone think?.

i said change it to british earlier in the thread so yeah i think you should do that
 
Hmm, this is going to be tough, but i'm looking forward to it, gonna start off now. I'm struggling with options for a replacement for Fab in centre, and Bakary/ Eboue at RB. Usually buy Joe Hart, who's obviously english but on loan, so i can't sign him until the end of the season :(

EDIT: I think you should do a points system of some kind, i'm gonna try all English, and probably make Barca's dreams come true. The points system could be based on league position etc. and maybe a couple of extra points if you manage to make it all English, not just British? Can we play foreigners in friendly games to attract interest?

British challenge sounds fair as (let's be honest) there isn't any 'world class' Welsh or Scottish players. There is the odd one - Ramsey, Fletcher - but that's about as good as it gets.

ive managed to sell arshavin atlast but for pretty cheap only £8 mil to fiorentina

Like Mike said, there isn't much world-class talent anyway, it's just so that you can get more depth in your squad.

If you want to carry on with it being fully English then go for it, you'll get much more credit than any of us lol..
 
i sold arshavin 15mil to man utd straight away :S cant sell bendter or fab tho :(
 
my line up isnt too good so far signed players like noble rodwell and ive signed delfouneso who turns class on this game
 
officially sold or loaned out everyone none English
 
ive got players in defence but im missing a striker, left wing and cm for starting 11(have got players lined up tho) and then i need an attacking midfielder any recommendations? :)
