Comments: I was given peanuts to spend because they gave me a load of cash in January last season so I could only get freebies and people on loan. Adam Smith is De Sciglio's replacement and Federico Macheda is Marvin Sordell's replacement. Jullien is a young centre-back who has lots of potential.

Comments: Good pre-season, beat Zenit, Lille and took Monaco to penalties! It is nice having a pre-season cup named after me aswell! This time around I did control and arrange the friendlies.

Comments: I am delighted that I finally beat Man Utd! Not many people can go to Goodison Park and win either! But again, I managed to lose to a lower league opposition in the cup.

Comments: An average month where I probably should have got 9 points instead of 4. Bassong was my best player in two of the games and he scored a great header against Southampton! I'm flying high in 7th place after 6 games!

Comments: An average month where we were involved in 3 entertaining games. I was annoyed we couldn't beat Forest though because we threw away a 2 goal lead with 6 minutes to spare. Jordan Rhodes played excellent this month with 1 goal and 1 MoTM

Comments: I am very annoyed that we didn't win a single game. We were winning in the Chelsea game and the West Brom game but we just couldn't hold on to a lead. Fer played very well and he also picked up a goal. I was without Bassong and Snodgrass for the whole of this month because they were injured. Also, Everton approached me with a job offer but I rejected it.
