Hello and welcome back to Sky Sports News, We are sitting here with Atletico Madrid boss Josh Gregg. Atleti had a fantastic year last term and gearing up for a new year in La Liga,

SSN: So Josh, your team were outstanding last season. How are you hoping to build upon that this year?

JG: Well first of all thanks for having me. To answer your question I am aiming to challenge Real and Barca for the title! I told the chairman this and he agreed to give me 62 million to spend on new faces! This would give us funds to help us achieve these goals whilst also extending a cramped wage budget. We need strengthening all over the park really, I have players lined up though!

SSN: Can you name any of these players?

JG: I don't really think that is appropriate, it will not really help the deal allowing other clubs to jump in and make offers for the players!

SSN: Ok.... well, you have had quite a drastic change in fortunes over the past year. This funnily shows in your kits. Last year's sponsor was Carrefour: A supermarket and this year it is El Corte Ingles: Spain's fanciest department store!

JG: I was actually thinking that a few days ago, It was a great turn of events!

SSN: It was great having you Josh! Come back next season.

JG: Of course!

Wow, the players I managed to bring in are all quality! We brought in some of Europe's top talents in Yoann, Edin and Toni! All my transfers impressed me, all of my targets signed and are all looking forward to their Atleti careers! On the selling front I didn't do anything drastic because I feel my squad only needed improvements not people being taken out. So overall I am delighted with the transfers!​

We were unlucky really, I think that the tightness of the results show the improvement in the team over the summer. We have won another trophy! This proves our team improvement over the past year, we lost to them twice in last years Champions League groups stage but today we trounced them! A third trophy for me and one that everyone involved with the club has earned!​
