Fixed that for you <)

Comparing two squads is absolutely absurd IMO, also you've to consider a player's form over his past ability, (I'm talking about Cole) and the likes of Everton And Soton have proved there's also some value of team cohesion in this game.

Our Central midfield is our weakest link, we're over crowded in attacking midfield, where the player who's not even making to bench (De bruyne) would've been unquestionable starter in most of top teams. Our best CM this season has been Ramires, that's saying something. He isn't a good fit for the system Chelsea board wants to play, he's a utility player, running up and down, winning ball, work rate and scoring a few goals, he's not the distributor or the creative hub one may want in midfield or an anchor Man who solidifies midfield. Mikel's strength and composure means he can hold on to the ball regardless of pressing but he slows down the pace of attacks. Lamps is getting old, sob sob. The Bison seems rusty.

Out attacking has been a let down, for eg. against Stoke, while Hazard was attacking, he passed to Mata, who I guess passed to Ramires, who passed to Ivan and then to Cahill, how the **** did ball reach CB during an attacking move? (Unless the defender is Luiz).

Our CBs have more passes, our Attacking midfielders have more tackles, our DMs make forward runs. I'd also like to see KdB tried in midfield, he can surely play in Lampards position, creating more and shooting less. I love Lamps but he's gets tired at this age, there's no need to play him thrice a week, Mourinho. He's at times like an old man jogging around with no idea what to do.

It is a ridiculous statement I am afraid. City's strike force is much much better than ours. Their central midfield is much much better than ours. Their defense is better than ours. Only two areas where we are better than them is attacking midfield (no ****) and goalkeeper (not by much) ... Not to mention that city's squad are mostly in the prime of their career. I think Mourinho mentioned this, not a single player below the age of 23 or above the age of 30
City's defence is not much better than Chelsea's, I agree their midfield and strikeforce is; but the differences basically even out. Anyway, their squad is very newly assembled, whereas the team I named has been at Chelsea for a few years, with some being at the club even longer than that! Compare that to City, whose team consists of two new signings this season, and the rest of the players have hardly been at the club for a long time either!

Form and team cohesion are not relevant to my point, although they are true, since we're discussing whether or not Chelsea 'have all the pieces'. If Chelsea were 'to have all the pieces', that doesn't necessarily mean that the team will play well, because the 'pieces might not fit together', to continue with Alcaraz's analogy. It's the same for form - we're talking hypothetically - on paper, whatever you want to call it - so I was assuming that all players were playing at their 'best' potential/form.

Willian vs Crystal Palace: 3 shots (2 on target), 2 chances created, 5 tackles, 3 interceptions, 3 clearances.

Once again an attacking midfielder defending, what is this? False DM? 5 tackles is absurd for an attacking midfielder, 3 clearances prove he was doing it in defensive third not up the field, disappointing performance, couldn't put the game to bed against CP at Stamford Bridge. Ramires scored a long ranger and then fluffed clear cut chances. Ivan was poor, he has played every minute of UCL and PL, doesn't need to feel like untouchable.

Well Ivanovic won't be playing our next game as he is suspended for a fifth yellow card of the season today.

Well played today guys. We put up a good fight but you just had a bit too much for us. Ramires' goal was a beaut.

Didnt see the game today but a lot of Chelsea fans have been saying palace put up a really good fight. Am I right in saying chamakh has 4 goals from 5 shots this season? Goal machine haha!

Steve Clarke has just been sacked by west brom. Get him back to the bridge Jose!

Something like that. Chamakh's always been decent, just never had a chance! Glad to see him doing well.

Speroni kept you in the game until the final whistle.

Manos De Dios. Glad to see him do well, he's such a great keeper.

Yes I can remember his arsenal career started pretty decent and he was scoring a few goals but as you said once he wasn't even making the bench of course he will have no goals to his name. Think if he keeps up his current form he could possibly score 10+ league goals this season which could be vital for palace.

Yup people consider him garbage. However what actually happened: 1. He arrived, banged in a lot of goals, helped the team play a lot more like they do now with Giroud allowing more of a handful in the box. 2. He got dropped as RVP came back from injury 3. He sat on the bench and only ever came on at the 70th minute, or in league cup games where he was in a side with a bunch of kids anyway.

He played well today did Chama, but Jerome was manhandled by Essien, who was magnificent.

Been a busy weekend for me by luckily managed to watch 75 minutes of the game yesterday and it went exactly how i expected it to go. I actually predicted a 1-1 draw being the pessimist i am but also because of some recent circumstances. Palace not only had a new manager one which i believe is a very good manager but they won their previous 2 matches and only conceded 1 goal in their last 5 games!

For me i felt Willian was our most effective player and i have been quite impressed with him in a Chelsea shirt, think he needs to work on his final ball but i am encouraged. Not many other performances to pick out but it was a tough physical game which the team got through and gained another 3 points which is what is key.

The main thing i wanted to pick up on is the word "transition" used by Jose not once but 2-3 times in the post-match interview. Again highlighting something which is a fact and something that will effect results/performances this season.

Very good result for us yesterday with Arsenal getting smashed but as much as i love seeing Spurs getting hammered its not the result i wanted today. Even if we manage to beat Arsenal its likely that Liverpool will be top at Christmas.

It actually feels good to still be in the title race come Christmas for the first time in a couple of seasons!
