I don't think anyone said Jose didn't want Lukaku at Chelsea last season, I thought it was obvious that Lukaku pushed for the loan deal once Eto'o was signed.

Quite a few people were saying that Jose isolated and pushed him out

You do realise how much money we have left, right? He would add serious quality and depth to the squad, and the price isn't an issue for us atm.

But both want to play every single game isn't it. Also both love to lead the line, this might lead to Rooney-RVP issue where you find it hard to play both of them and even harder to leave one of them on the bench.

Reason Cavani wants out is because he is not playing as CF.

Cant see the signing happening myself. Cavani is world-class and wouldn't accept a place on the bench. Neither will costa. Cavani's transfer fee and wages won't be chump change either

Personally think we need a decent rotational player with a knack for scoring goals. Someone in the Ba mould who I actually rate because he did well whenever he was given a chance

Come Baaaaaaaaaack. *Sheep voice*

Actually you are right ... I mean Jose isn't stupid enough to put his faith in a **** Torres and a 80 year old semi-retired African striker. Never done it before. Silly me

Why do you keep making the same mistake over and over. I told you -- It's now or never for Jose. Forget last summer and last season. THEY ARE IRRELEVANT.

Why should I? Jose showed that he is completely okay with going with Torres/Eto'o as his main strikers. That means he will probably be completely okay with them as his main back-up strikers as well. Honestly I am 50-50 on whether we will buy a striker or not ...

I'm like 60-40.... We'll see. I'm not panicking just yet. 1 ******* month remaining.

Chelsea is probably the only club in the world where a player of Fabregas' quality has arrived with so little fanfare and so much skepticism ... Glad to see he is slowly winning the critics over

I am not panicking either but I do fear the worst. It's decisions like these that cost us the title last season. Really wonder what moves we will make if any ... Jose has a lot of cash now

skepticism? why? He's always been a terrific player.

Fabregas will be quality, no doubts about that.

But if you decide you lot don't like him feel free to give him to AC Milan, cheers :)

We have Torres and Drogba apart from Costa. I repeat: T O R R E S. Fernando Torres.

Still can't see it?

I realise how much money you have, and i realise who your striking options are and i stick by my original opinion.

Cavani is overrated and overpriced

I might just be unlucky buch each out of a dozen times I've seen Cavani he's been pisspoor.

I dont claim to have watched him week in week out - its usually the Champions League / World Cup / the odd game i tune in involving PSG and on each occasion (perhaps 10-15games) he has been hugely underwhelming

For 40mil+ and 150-200k a week+ i would expect a lot better

He always looks more dangerous than how he actually plays lol.

Runs his mouth off, throws his toys out the pram, potentially upset the squad harmony lol. He hasn't done anything of this still Chelsea fans started to attack him about his weak mentality. If anything he has been top pro who wants to play rather than warm the bench.

Not sure when did he upset dressing room to say potentially he could. Same thing can be said about every single player in the world.

He gave 1 or 2 interviews which is normal for any young player who wants to play. He said he doesn't mind leaving if he doesn't get chance. That's fair enough interview. Only Chelsea fans can see it as something weak mentality. Not every player wants to go out on loan forever or warm bench.

It's a great deal for Chelsea but the way some Chelsea fans go about him is worse than United fans going on about Pogba. He signed 3 years back, he didn't get the chance so he wants to leave for his career. Not sure why Chelsea fans are so upset that they started to fabricate stories.

Also I don't remember his creating any problems at all for Chelsea. He had a word with Jose and wants out. What's wrong in that?

Also few Chelsea fans using World cup as argument to prove he isn't good enough for top club, well Hazard was worse than him or at least as worse.

I never used the WC against him and i don't hate him, in fact unlike a lot of other fans Chelsea fans don't tend to slate their players or burn their shirts for leaving. I'm just saying with everything there i think we were better selling him than keeping hold of him.

I'm saying neither are mentally weak, and KDB could have been a regular by now, and Lukaku as the potential to be a regular

There is no way De Bryune would get in our side ahead of Hazard, Oscar, Fábregas, Schurrle or Willian. Lukaku would have got 20-30 appearances for us but by all means wasn't happy unless he was called #1, not going to happen at a side like Chelsea, you have to earn the right to be one of Jose's untouchables. Azpilicueta is case in point, wasn't even being selected at start of last season, worked his **** off and ended up replacing a left back who was one of Jose's previous untouchables. Just because Lukaku done it at other clubs doesn't mean he instantly deserves to start with Chelsea.

I know Chelsea fans will be mad like always, but in all reality, this is probably one of the main reasons Shaw wanted to join United instead of Chelsea.

How many other top clubs gave debuts to 3 young kids last season including one of them away at Anfield with the opposition are fighting for the title???? Things are changing, and we all know Chelsea never wanted to pay that much for Shaw so its a mute point!

I seriously doubt Cavani will play second fiddle to Costa, or the other way around for that matter.

He's being played out of position, i'm sure he would be happier making 20-30 appearances but in his right position.
