Diego Costa made 40 passes on Monday night against burnley. That is more than any Chelsea striker made or even attempted bar Torres against Cardiff in any premier league game in the whole of last season.
 
Roman ... What a lad. Celebrates just like a diehard fan. Gave Drogba and Costa a standing ovation as well

He is as good as Cech as well as 10 years younger. Courtois can quite easily become the best goalkeeper in the world in the next 3-4 years

One thing about youngsters today is they peak early. Key is to be consistent with your performances. I think Curtious is pretty much on his peak, he got lot of experience and he fully developed his body, physically that is. And even now he's very consistent, truly gifted goalkeeper.

He really bailed us out today. Was really impressed by his performance. Cech is the sort of keeper who won't lose you points but Courtois can become one of those rare keepers who can actually win you points with his performances which is what he did today. Excellent performance
 
Costa showing signs of a good striker today hardly had a kick but gets his chance and takes it! How we have missed a striker like that the last few years.

You're underrating Cech there. He has been massive for you. I doubt Curtois is any better than Cech before his head injury, and if he managed to get to that level, I would be very, very happy.

Cech was brilliant before his head injury but he definitely lost a bit of quality afterwards. Since then he has been slowly declining whereas Courtois has come on leaps and bounds and I honestly struggle to see any difference in quality between them now. Agreed though, if Courtois can become what Cech was before his head injury, we would have a truly excellent goalkeeper
 
Today i believe we can put this 3 points down to 1 man and 1 man only and that man is our new boy Courtois. He made 2-3 good saves at 0-0 but the obvious one from Nugent when through one on one was game changing in my eyes. It came when we were having our best spell funnily enough we committed too many men forward and got caught on the counter attack. But saves like that are saves which win you points and wins you titles and Cech for me is the best keeper to ever play for this club but its the right time to move on, this lad is something else.

1st half i felt we looked like last season's Chelsea, slow not really creating anything and i felt Leicester coped with Fabregas well getting 2-3 players around him quickly whenever he got the ball. But 2nd half we took more risks, Costa pulled the centre backs around more, Ivanovic was basically playing as a right winger (arguably been our best player so far this season throwing the gauntlet down to Luis). We got the ball more to Hazard who was left with a bit more space due to Leicester worrying more about Fabregas and this was always going to be the key for this season getting more dangerous players so that Hazard is left with more space.

Best moment for me though was seeing Roman's antics up in the box when we scored and when Drogba came on. This man is one of us 100%, he is as passionate and as mental as each and every one of us (just a little richer). 2 games gone, 2 Costa goals, 6 points and still top of the league. Good start Chels!

Pre-injury Cech is not really a fair standard to try and judge anybody. That version of Cech may have as well make the shortlist for one of the best of all time, instead of just one of the best (but never really The best) of our generation.

It was genuinely painful to see how he lost that bit of quality that made him so special after his head injury. Can't blame him either
 
Seen that Danny Welbeck is available. I wouldn't mind him at all especially with our quota issues ...
