Wasn't De Bruyne involved in some unprofessional conduct while at Chelsea?
I have a vague memory of him refusing to stop eating sweets or some nonsense like that.
If Branna and Luis are both out tomorrow who are we going to play at right back? Azpi will no doubt be at lb and I really hope zouma isn't moved to the right. Wouldn't mind seeing ake given a big chance tbh he can play full back aswell.
That was the excuse Jose gave us, among other things. KdB claimed he quit those and he still got sold. Obviously we don't know exactly what went down between the two, but 6 months is not nearly enough to prove yourself in a team, especially when you barely get to play a few games.
At least we got Salah to replace him, right?
We'll never know what really happened but from my memory KdB didn't want to do the work Mourinho wanted from those no.10 types (hence why Mata was sold) and he didn't have the right attitude in training, so if those are true we did the right thing in selling him and from a business point of view we made a profit. Also he might be playing well for Wolfsburg, but sometimes half decent players look even better in an average team.

Yes De Bruyne has talent but it didn't work for him at Chelsea and that's just the way football is at times. Us selling De Bruyne has never bothered me, partly because he didn't want to do the defensive work and his transfer enabled us to balance the books on the Matic deal and I'd much rather have Matic than De Bruyne.
Going off the Costa topic how great was Zouma last night? Id like to think he has earnt a run of games with that performance but I won't be surprised to see Cahill back in the starting 11 on Saturday.
one thing is for sure saturdays game is a lot more interesting now
Schurrle has been poor majority of this season but I'm still sad to see him go. Also don't see how it makes sense to decrease our already small squad by letting two players leave and only having one come in.
I am not sure if defensive work-rate was ever part of the problem. It was more about his attitude in training
Holy ****, has Ivanovich actually learnt to cross?
Campaign against Chelsea again?
Hazard kept the ball in, but ref judged not to be, and that throw in resulted in the goal.
