Bamford should make the perm move to boro imo, lads too nice for chelsea but then again he's too posh for boro so.

I would rather see him go on loan to a premier league side first tbh rather than sit on our bench as third choice striker which could stall his development. Would like to see him back at Middlesbrough for another year if they win promotion this season.

Defo agree. But looks to good for Championship imo.
 
Bamford will get them in the Prem and will renew his loan with them :P What a player. Good goals today.

Well if we're going with the whole moneyball theory, we should be keeping 1/2 of this current crop. For me, it's looking like Bamford, possibly Traore and maybe Baker or RLC, although it's very hard to tell if they'll make the transition, Had very high hopes with Piazon too but he: A. seems to want to move on permanently B. still has feet faster than his brain.
 
Jose seems to be a big fan of Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Not only has he been on our bench quite a few times this season and made a few appearances but Jose also said he will be a big surprise in the premier league next season and if it was for chelsea being in the title race with City and not being able to risk not starting his best 11 Ruben would of already been starting and playing games quite regularly this season.

Meh next season we will be challenging City for the title as well and the same excuse will be trotted out. Youth need to be thrown in the deep end regardless of title challenge or not. That's how they learn

I like Traore a lot actually. I'm betting on him if anyone makes it of those you mentioned.

Don't play them unless they prove themselves worthy of first team elsewhere on loan.
 
Another average performance. Oscar needs to **** off. Or maybe switch position with Cesc. But that hurts Cesc and ultimately the team. JUST CHANGE SOMETHING FFS
 
The penalty given away from Matic just sums up his first-half performance, he's been very poor so far. As usual all the trouble is coming down our right-hand side, Brana being caught out of position to high up the pitch which pulls the whole defence across to cover. Oscar again has gone missing and is just drifting through the game. Fabregas's passing has been wayward. Also sometimes we need to cut out all the silly little flicks and just pass it!

Jose definitely needs to sort something out because it isn't working at the moment. We look very leggy.

I can see him getting sent off at some point today. He's looking sloppy and in his position he has to makes challenges, plus with Southampton's pace up front he's a f***er for pushing up to far to close down opponents and get's turned way to easy when he isn't playing well.
