You could get 2 of them but face major competition for Pogba. And Reus no chance.

I think if we go all out for Pogba we have a good chance. We have 100m just for him plus another 100/200 if we want for other players. However, I think we will get only 1 luxury signing this summer and that MUST be Pogba (if he's available that is). Then we need someone to replace Oscar and another CB.

We seriously need to look at signing some direct competition for Oscar in the summer, if for nothing else than so that he can get a rest. He's been average for a fair chunk of this season and even when he's on form, he never really that special.

Tbh I can see Oscar leaving in the summer if we get a silly offer like £40m for him, far to inconsistent. I saw a little rumour a while ago talking about a possible swap deal with him for Pogba and some money... I'd take that, if it's possible.

Madrid,Utd,PSG all linked with Pogba and can pay the same if not more. But will be good to watch the saga unfold this summer :)

De Bruyne :)

I've already ranted enough about how selling Mata and KdB last Jan was a terrible idea and left us a very one dimensional team, don't set me off again ;)

I suspect we'll go for the CM though, someone who can let Fabregas go forward (as that would allow Mourinho to keep to his current style).

Of course, we could wipe away my irritation and solve our issue in one fell swoop if we just signed Pogba... pls Jose ;_;

Defo gonna be one of the big movers this season.

Honestly, I think City are the biggest contenders for him. They will probably be looking for a marquee player this summer to make up for this collapse in their season, they may well be getting a new manager that might wants to come in with a bit of a statement signing, they clearly need someone to replace Toure and they'll happily pay bucketloads of cash. It all fits for them, worryingly.

They could but will have to sell first and they also have to worry about there home grown quota. Said on Sunay Supplement few weeks back there unlikely to spend bucket loads.

Actually your wrong and he and his agent has said this. And he still talk fondly of Utd regular.

I can't see it myself, why would he move to United if they don't get CL? I can't see the sense in it. Yes United are a big club and can offer silly money, but so can Madrid, City, PSG and Chelsea. Also with Madrid etc he's more likely to win things immediately than United currently are.

Money talks always and we are still a big club. And who is to say we wont be challenging.

City are an odd one really. They have plenty of players that they could shift to raise the funds, and they're only 2 players away from being monstrously good again. I would be very surprised if they don't find some way to get a sizeable budget in the summer and don't invest heavily.

Read somewhere that if they don't sell it could be about 60-70m.

I don't think they have players whom they can sell for big money like Chelsea did, one of the reason is massive wages they are on and also most player they want to offload are near 30s.

Pogba counts as home grown in England though, doesn't he?

'Challenging' as in, 'the little horse'? I'm sorry but if you finish outside of top 4 with the current squad, it's hard to believe how you'll suddenly win the league next season considering the fact(?) Chelsea and City will strengthen even further.
