I didn't use it to show you weren't favourites, it shows just because you're favourites doesn't mean you'll win anything, and just because you're 3rd favourites doesn't mean you won't.

Funny how you talk about people being decent human beings, and then you want to deny someone a massive leap in their career to progress and be a much better player. Just a tad selfish.

Yeah, before every game now I'm excited to see how we're going to line up and who with. Lots of people call our 4-3-3 boring but Mikel playing the holding role is almost a different formation when we see Meireles playing that position.

Without trying to stir it again or start another arguement, I can see why Shay may be slightly bitter. He could have easily stayed at Celtic for a few more years, had more first team opportunities at a great club and possibly made the club (that has helped him so much) a tidy sum, should he reach his touted potential. So many young stars go to massive clubs and their careers stagnate, it is a risky move but clearly there are pros and cons for each side of the arguement.
 
SSN are ******* me off now, here is what they said. Breaking news regarding Chelsea is that........Fernando Torres starts!!!!!! Surely the ommision of Lampard and Terry is more breaking news!!!!

as Mereiles tried to touch the ball , wouldnt it count as being in play and hence the offside?

Meireles interfered with play. Had he not been there, the keeper probably would have saved it.
