Ivanovic has been excellent since RDM took over. Playing some of his best football currently to help us maintain our challenge on all 3 fronts. Fantastic player

Also Cahill has proving his critics wrong. Been very good since he joined Chelsea baring that horrific performance vs Napoli in the first leg.

Always backed Cahill to do well since going to Stamford Bridge. Have a feeling he'll be even better next season.

Definitely the future Terry replacement :)

David Luiz has looked really good as well, cut the mistakes out of his game.

According to the media Ivanovic could be given a 3 match ban for punching a Wigan player.

Ffs Brana you idiot. Playing so well ATM and at a really crucial point in our season.

Ivanovic gets my vote for player of the season. Has performed consistently throughout the season and has scored crucial goals for us. Players like Ramires, Sturridge and Mata who did start very well have tailed off somewhat but Ivanovic has kept up his performance level. Top Player!

Also hopefully we can continue our good form vs Fulham. Rotation is key to ensure the entire squad is at 100% when we go through the gruelling 4 games against Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham. The next 4 games after Fulham shall define our season no doubt.

My starting line-up:

GK: Cech
LB: Betrand
CB: Luiz
CB: Cahill
RB: Ivanovic

DM: Oriol Romeu
DM: Obi Mikel

LW: S.Kalou
ACM: Juan Mata
RW: Daniel Sturridge

ST: Torres

Didier Drogba will be pivotal in our clashes against Barcelona and Arsenal and will probably start those games so deserves a rest to ensure he is fit. Essien is another one who will be pivotal in our clashes against Barcelona, important to make sure he is fully rested as well

John Terry is another player we shall surely need in our back-line in our next 4 games. No point in playing him against Fulham particularly as he is suffering from cracked ribs and definitely needs more rest and the fact that we have a capable replacement in Cahill.

Betrand deserves another start after his performance vs Wigan. Ashley Cole has been plagued by a minor ankle problem so it will be good if he is given another match off to rest and recuperate.

I would personally welcome a boring 1-0 win in this one. We have 4 very important games coming up so really a good, solid and nonsense win will do it for me.

Di Matteo is certainly having a lotta luck, bound to run out to be honest, could be embarassing against
Barca, getting pulled around by Wigan and fluking a win :P

Wigan had a lot of the ball without any success really, same as Barca they will have a lot of the ball but if our defence is strong like it has been recently we can win.

Shame that you do not put some faith in Bertrand, I honestly thought he was Chelsea's best player yesterday and I think with time on the pitch he could become really good, not denying Jordi Alba is a good player but why not put faith in Bertrand, the potential is there :) Not to mention you have Ashley Cole as well, but buying Jordi Alba would just be like throwing Bertrand away, shame really as he seems a good English talent.

I rate Bertrand so much, earlier in the season i was so dissapointed he wasen't getting games especially when Cole was looking unfit and out of form. This is a player who has over 150 Championship first team appearances which isen't to be ignored, if he was our first choice LB next season i would not be worried.

Always backed Cahill to do well since going to Stamford Bridge. Have a feeling he'll be even better next season.

So did i, so many said "but he is too slow and his form for Bolton is a main reason they have been so poor etc".

Here's the video.

STUPID STUPID MAN!!!!!!!!!!! I ******* LOVE BRANA AND HE HAS BEEN IMMENSE.

Looks like Luiz won't be paying tonight as he has wrote on twitter he is resting for the week.

******* YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tonight is our chance!

It's written in the script for us not to capitalise on this.. The pressure is on

Certainly going to be a **** of close finish for a European spot. 3 teams could be on 59 points by tonight

Loads of rumours flying around that we have made contact with Valencia regarding Jordi Alba. This is a signing that makes sense. Ashley Cole has been poor this season and Betrand is not yet ready to be a first-team regular for us just yet. PVA was **** on his loan to Wigan and has not done very well for Vitesse either.

At only 23, Alba is the sort of signing Chelsea's new transfer policy is shaped to. Young, rucksack of potential and will not cost way over the odds either due to Valencia's financial trouble.

Word is still going around that we are looking at Willian and Jovetic for the summer. Again the sort of signings that make sense for us, both players can play across the 3 in a 4-2-3-1. Again they are young and will not command a astronomical transfer fee.

Some quotes out of Lucas Moura's agent that we are still interested. To be fair, Lucas is a signing I will want to stay well away from unless the price is significantly reduced. 40m is too much for him particularly as we can get better value by signing players like Willian and Jovetic.

I am suprised there has been no concrete links with a RB so far. There was some word going around that we were interested in Azipicuelta, Inkoon and VDW. Surpising really considering that RB is one of the positions we definitely have to reinforce this summer.

Agree on Jordi Alba, but PvA didn't get a chance at Wigan, and at Vitesse he's not done badly, but his performances have been inconsistent.

Not sure how much you think Jovetic will cost. Fiorentina rejected bids in January, think he'd cost 25M now. Suppose it depends on what you consider 'astronomical'. Not saying that I think 25M is astronomical, but it's hardly peanuts.

Doubt Lucas Moura will cost 40M, TBH. I think more 30-35M.

Like I said a couple of pages back, if we sell Cole we should definitely get Jordi Alba, and then loan one of PvA or Bertrand out. But if we keep Cole, then I still don't think Jordi Alba would be a bad signing; he's a great player, and we could play him left wing.

John Terry and Frank Lampard both return as Roberto Di Matteo makes six changes.
The centre-forward position is rotated with Fernando Torres starting and Didier Drogba on the bench. Juan Mata gets a rare rest so Raul Meireles will play the 'No. 10' position.

Fulham make two changes - their captain Danny Murphy also returning after injury and Kerim Frei in for injured Bryan Ruiz.

Chelsea will line-up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation:
1 Petr Cech
2 Branislav Ivanovic
24 Gary Cahill
26 John Terry (c)
34 Ryan Bertrand
12 John Mikel Obi
8 Frank Lampard
7 Ramires
16 Raul Meireles
21 Salomon Kalou
9 Fernando Torres
Subs: 22 Ross Turnbull, 17 Jose Bosingwa, 6 Oriol Romeu, 15 Florent Malouda, 10 Juan Mata, 23 Daniel Sturridge, 11 Didier Drogba.

Very poor display, long balls and no idea whatsoever. If we keep playing like that we will lose the game, or get a draw which doesnt work for us.

Good old Lamps does it again. 150 Goals in the Premier Leauge, the first ever midfielder to reach this milestone. Legend.

Dempsey has been a revelation this season. He's going to a big club next season-just such a quality player

Yeah, we was bound to let a goal in. Typical Chelsea defence. We aren't going to let fourth go like this are we?!

We just dont deserve to be in top4. We are poor, we concede and we just cant keep a goal advantage for too long.

**** that.
