Man, Azpilicueta now too? Roman sure went nuts with the shopping this summer, i'm gonna laugh if Torres doesn't start to score.

He did indeed, how did i forget that!

Eden Hazard completed the most successful dribbles in today's game with 5, 2nd on the list was Moses with 4. That is why he will be a very good signing!

Indeed, very good game for Vic. The lad works his socks off and if by any chance he doesn't join us, I will rate him as a player anyway. Really talented guy.

I still have hope Torres can have a pretty good season. I will be happy with 10-15 goals in all competitons to be honest but if he can manage to score 20+ this season I am sure every Chelsea fan will be over the moon.

Quick stat, hope no-one has said it yet or I'll look stupid.

Today's goal was Frank Lampard's 250th in all competitions for club and country.

39 for West Ham United, 1 for Swansea City, 187 for Chelsea, 23 for England.

Absoloutely incredible for a central midfielder wether he is a penalty taker or not. Many strikers would be proud of that milestone.

Still, it seems very risky to loan out Lukaku when you only have two strikers. If Torres doesn't score, and something happens to Sturridge , then what?

Which is why we are apparently interested in Schurrle/Hulk/Moses who can play the CF role. Not sure if Moses is any good there though. Schurrle can do a job and I am sure Hulk can do pretty well there

Glad the Azpilicueta deal is almost done. We basically plugged all the holes in our squad this window... Anything more is a bonus. Modric would be a very nice one ;)

Short clip of Oscar from yesterday, first clip shows great pace and you see him already dropping deep and getting touches.

To be fair he is not that quick. It just looked that way because he was up against Centre-Back

But yeah, towards the end we can see his natural style of play. Dropping deep and initiating attacks from there... He might be given a start against Reading in place of Juan Mata who looked knackered out there

Interview of Hazard from the Guardian. Well worth a read. Link is here

Provides a few tactical insights into how Chelsea are aiming to play as well.

still wouldnt mind if we actually offered Atletico Torres plus cash for Falcao. Surely Atletico would welcome Nando back with open arms?

Spent 50Million on wrong striker. Would have been absolute beast of a player for Chelsea.

Whose to say Falcao will continue his good run of form in the EPL? Excellent player but not much better than Torres when the latter gets going

i would much rather have Cavani to be honest if we were looking to replace Torres ... absolute monster of a player
