My latest blog actually sticking up for Rafa if anyone fancies a read.

Playing Devils Advocate? | Chelsea Fancast

I will also add that I believe Rafa will do well for us and we will win a trophy or three and I also believe he will be in charge this time next season as there is no way Pep (the saviour) Guardiola will take this job. After all when he says, “me and the fans want the same things and that’s to win” we can’t disagree with that can we?

I don't see it. I just don't. A trophy - maybe.
And I agree about Pep, no way he is coming.

I had a 5-aside football match tonight with kick-off at 9:30 so obviously i was debating whether to go as Chelsea were playing. After watching the 1st half i decided to attend the 5 aside game and although we lost 18-1 (played the game a man down) i think i enjoyed that more than i would have done if i continued watching us. Roman surely can't say that football under Robbie was worse than this???? ******* joke of a club at the moment and its us the fans who are hurting!

Give the man a chance, ******* ****. He's had two games, and less than a week in charge. I know you don't like him, but don't be so dismissive so quickly, it's attitudes like that, that helped to get all your managers sacked.

So it's the fans fault Robbie, Jose, Carlo, Claudio and Sclolari got sacked then yeah? Rafa is the only manager we have booed constantly.

Nope. But the owner will think of the fans' reaction before sacking someone, even if not that much, he will. by acting so fickle about it all you're really not helping

The owner does not care at all about what the fans think it's quite clear to see that. What Roman wants is what happens it's as simple as that. If he wanted Jimmy Saville in charge he would do it regardless of what anyone else said.

Entire team was so bad they actually made Torres look half-decent.

Give Rafa time. I am sure he will turn it around. Anyways we are always bad in winter but end up turning it around....

Lukaku scored again against Swansea. If he can get 10-15 goals this season, it will be really good.

Honestly can't understand all the 'Rafa' hate. If RDM had been in-charge, no doubt we would have lost the City game because RDM never made us a balanced side. Rafa is actually going about it the right way...Fix the defense and then look at the attack. Once you have a solid defense, it gives the attacking players more confidence to go out there and create chances.

The worst part is that these same people will be singing Rafa's name if he brings us trophies which I believe he can do. He is a fantastic manager and is now working under an owner who will back him in the transfer market unlike last time he was in-charge of Liverpool.

Chelsea fans - would you rather of not had Roman take over at all? See alot of hate for some of the things he has done but come on, he has 100% given Chelsea their best years ;)

Against chelsea, you might have scored, but you would have conceded more imo. Rafa will get the defence sorted then build you a platform to attack from.

He's also made the club hugely unstable and turned them into a bit of a joke, I wouldn't be surprised if some fans out there would have rather he didn't take over.

Hmmm, would I rather have had possible financial meltdown or 3 league titles, 4 FA cups and the CL? Tough one that...

But this cannot happen with Torres as our striker. Time to cut our losses i think.

Think you quoted the wrong person...

Which is what I said immediately after the Manchester United match.

Bench Torres. Give Sturridge a run of games. Concentrate all our efforts on getting Llorente and Moutinho in January. Flog Torres out for whatever measly sum we can get.

Haaaaa, knew I'd get 2 opposite responces ;)
