Lampard is doing it from MIDFIELD. It would be a brilliant achievement as a striker, but to do it from midfield is incredible.

I just don't think its inconcevable to think that Marin could have been a decent option coming on for a tired, out of position and out of form Bertrand that's all. And going back to the Newcastle defeat Saturdays performance by Azpi just echo's mine and your question marks over why Rafa left him out.

He was a risk. he was passed barely fit, we see it with players all the time. BUT YOU HAVE TWO STRIKERS. Given that the league is a priority, he has to have the option there. What happens if Torres had pulled up and Ba not been on the bench? If anything the fact that Ba was on the bench just highlights how thin the squad is. Which laughable when you realise how many players are on loan.
