Well that is just weird. This wasn't just yet another tackle missed by the refs, it was seriously violent play, with an obvious intent to hurt Luiz, too. What the ****, really.

They said because the referee gave a freekick to Chelsea and nothing more, then he must have saw the incident, so the FA can't take any action.

They can't use that as an excuse, as they also failed to punish Ferdinand and Mcmanaman, both of which were unseen by the referee (I think).
 
Ferdinand knocking down Torres does not even compare. Yeah it was a clear red, but it wasn't a brutal play, Rio was just being a ****. Luiz nearly got castrated yesterday.

The linesman said he saw McManamnans' challenge in the referee's report IIRC, so no action was taken
 
I ****** hope it works out okay and Kunt Aguero (which is what he will now be known as) scores the winner against Spurs this weekend.
 
So it looks like we might be getting Andre Schürrle, atleast according to Raphael Honigstein

I see so many fans saying "well Lukaku will go back on loan so Schurrle will be our other striker" but they really don't know that hs is not a striker! Played as a striker once this season!
 
Very good performance and a massive 3 points for us tonight! Luiz and JT showed that they are the best centre back partnership for us at the moment, absolutely solid throughout. Torres did not stop working even in the 93rd minute was chasing balls down, that is what we want to see Nando! Roll on Sunday, we need at least a point minimum against pool! UTC!
 
Torres has been playing really well lately. Wonder if he will start vs Liverpool this weekend
