Today for me it is Paulo Ferreira day! What a loyal and class man, thank you for 9 years or service Paulo, i hope you join our coaching team one day.
 
Torres and Ba start today, along with Ake and young Christensen's on the bench.
 
Good way to end the season. 3rd place and a trophy. Time to push on next season and become serious title challengers again
 
Off the top of my head, that's Ferreira, Benayoun, Malouda, Hilario, Turnbull and possibly Marin leaving in the summer. Lampard on reduced wages. All these combines to save us quite a bit in wages. Real question though is who will be coming in

Schurrle deal looks more or less done. Leverkusen just trying to find a replacement really. A mobile central midfielder is essential. If I had a penny for everytime I said that. I also think recalling Lukaku will be a smart option but that doesn't look likely. I still maintain that it would be good if we could let go of either one of Torres or Ba and get in a new striker. Ba has looked out of sorts for some time. Torres flatters to deceive too much for my liking

Oh well, set to be an interesting summer again :P
 
What a beautiful day! 3rd place, Lukaku hat-trick against United and what a performance from Ake! I really, really wanted this season to be over and it is now.


Now bring back the special one.

Schurrle deal isnt quite done. KDB wants to go to Dortmund, and its holding it all up.

Yeah, Leverkusen looking at other options as well. Hopefully it can all be sorted out soon. I doubt Schurrle will be willing to remain at Leverkusen for another season
 
Respect for Rafa. Handled him self well and did a fine job in the end, won't get the credit he deserves as we all know but his CV looks nice and our trophy cabinet just got bigger.

Mourinho and Lukaku to come home and I'm happy.
 
Haha, how on earth Fereira, Ivanovic and Azpilicueta were on the pitch at the same time? Rafa trolling the Bridge on his last game.
 
Nice win to clinch 3rd spot in what was one of the most end to end games I have seen in a long while. Thought our defence was very ropey today and am starting to think we may need to sign another centre back. MOTM for me was Nathan Ake, the young lad was not scared of anything or anyone and put in many tackles and interceptions and our winner was started by him. No thoughts on Rafa what so ever which is a better opinion than I thought I would have when he took the job. I don't think I have ever been this excited for the new season to start, its going to be one busy, entertaining summer! UTC!
 
Imagine how many goals Torres would have this season if he kept up his scoring run in the league from the start of the season! 22 goals in all comps but could be 30+ if he managed to find the net more than just once after December but tbf to him the arrival of Ba didn't help as he started the majority of league games since signing.
 
On Rafa I think one of his aims when he took the Chelsea job was to try and change many Chelsea fans opinions of him and I think he has achieved that. I thank him for what he has done at the club this season and I truly hope he is a huge success at which ever club he next goes on to manage. He has gained a lot of my respect this season and I have no problem with him now being forever in our history after winning the Europa League.
