Ah, ok. Disappointing if it is true, but like I said yesterday we don't know what will influence his decision, thought he was the ideal player for what we want though. Some other good players who we could get, like Modric, but I would much prefer Pastore because he's nearly as good if not as good and more advanced, whereas Modric is similar to Josh. Younger too which is always a bonus and can turn into one of the very best.
Kind of worried now as we've just lost out on a playmaker (the one position we really need) but I have faith in AVB, just hope he see's sense and buys a playmaker and winger soon with only 16 days until the Stoke game.
Don't know much about Pastore, but if he's more comfortable playing AMC/more advanced than Modric would be, I definitely think he would be the right signing for Chelsea. Modric's age and style mean he'd simply block McEachran at a crucial point in his career when he's got a real chance of breaking through in the next year or two.

Not signed that Barca lad yet "Oriol Romeu" but we have sent our docter to Colombia to give him a medical (he is playing for Spain U20s at the World Cup). But he is only 19 so i would expect him to either go on loan or be a bit part player. I like Kalou because of that reason you just said, he does give his all and especially in the last 15-20minute of games he has pretty quick feet which confuses himself so it confuses the tires defenders. He has scored over 50 goals for Chelsea and for a player that has never been a first team starter thats pretty decent.

Kalou will always be a great point of discussion between Chelsea fans, there are people who just want to see him go, and some who love him....
Mind you, i remember going to Everton in the F.A cup last season, and when he came on, most of the Chelsea fans were like...."Oh, ffs"....then he went on to score, ha.
Was a very good goal indeed, he is great for team morale too. He got hold of a camera and was playing pranks on teammates on the plane the other day and you need people like that in the squad.
