Hopefully we are now going in for Guarin and Perreira.. both of them would be good enough signings in my opinion, not too keen on Meirless

Ssn are ******* dicks! They just said news coming out of stamford bridge which got me excited to say Ulises Davilla has gone out on loan. That's old news Ssn you dicks.

lol... I am seriously considering to close my laptop, Iphone and television and watch a movie at the theatre or something and come back to this thread when the transfer window, at least I will be assured of receiving some news

Another option in midfield could be Christian Eriksen from Ajax. Young, creative, and would be cheaper than Modric.

Guess we'll see what happens. I can see Alvaro coming in and Yossi heading out, but if there are any further signings I can't really see who will be the one leaving.

we most definitely need a Central Midfielder, AVB has admitted that himself... personally I could even see Alex leaving to Juventus

Also reports in Belgium that we are close to signing young De Bruyne although he is by no means top priority and as he was going to go back on loan to Genk anyways and we do have first option on him, we will probably go back for him after this season

He don't wanna change right now. He confirmed that to Danish jounalists. Maybe in the winter transfer or next season. But I have to agree with you that a CM is needed, but Franck Ribéry would be nice in a Chelsea shirt as well. I actually think I am going to buy one with his name then :D

I doubt Ribery is coming, first of all he is a tad expensive, injury-prone.... great player but we dont really need him and we have other priorities

If we buy Ribery then we'd be stupid. He's already played in CL this season. And anyway Bayern have denied the rumours that we have bid for him.

Eriksen is very unlikely after he had two trials with Chelsea few years back..

But Eriksen's dad insists he is happy his son did not make the move to Stamford Bridge and advised other starlets against a move to west London.

'Chelsea thought he [Eriksen] was too weak and not that great,' claimed Eriksen's father Thomas.

They wanted him to have a third trial - but I said no to that. They had time to consider him.
'But it suited us just fine because it was not the right place for him. The English mentality does not work, they are completely cold with the way they deal with players.

'If there is one player from the youth team that goes to the first team they are happy. They are indifferent to all the rest.

'The training facilities are good - but kids should not go there.'

Rumours that were broken The Sun :P.... anyways I am off to sleep, cant be bothered staying up another 7 hours for the transfer window to close as its nearly midnight here in Singapore, will probably wake up at around 9 and hopefully will see some good news, would have stayed up if I was still staying in England but meh, I need some sleep before school

Apparently Sky Italia are reporting that Chelsea have enquired about Marco Parolo. Strange. Can't see it happening.

According to the Guardian, Malouda is adamant that he will not leave.

He can play in round of 16 just not the group stages.

1. Injury-Prone

2. Expensive

3. Will block the development of Sturridge who has a real chance of breaking through this season and he deserves it

4. A very good player but again at 27, little resale value and no guarntee that he can cut it in the PLM

dont think he will... a quality player on his day and he really wants to continue playing for Chelsea and fight for his place; does not want to leave London either

Yes, but we would want him for the group stages, would we not? And like I said Bayern have denied a bid anyway.

Balague: Man City snubbed enquiries from Atletico madrid, Sevilla, Malaga & Chelsea for Adam Johnson

To put it into context, he's currently better than both Piazon and McEachran
