Frank Lampard - 534 games, 179 goals and 114 assists (all with Chelsea not counting West Ham and Swansea).
Steven Gerrard - 563 games, 142 goals and 83 assists (Obviously all with Liverpool). 01/02 stats say no assists may be wrong.
Xavi - 602 games, 66 goals and 73 assists (all with Barcelona not counting Barca B). 01-05 stats say no assists will be wrong.
Even with the maybe missing seasons for Gerrard and Xavi that really is something to be proud of Lampsy.
Ramires looks like a great midfielder btw
Been impressesd when I have watched him![]()
I'm not sure where you're getting at, as all three are different types of players which can't be compared by means of stats alone.
Took a good 6 months to settle but has arguably been our best player this season.
scores goals aswell
Maybe Lampards replacement?![]()
We were very lucky that Ramires didn't play against us. He's your only centre that can pick the ball up and really drive towards defences, much like Dembele does for us. You lack penetration without him.
Well they can, both Gerrard and Lampard have been said as similar type of players.
I think he will be mate, he does have something Lampard has never had and that is bags of pace. He drives forward from midfield and he is just frightning, always gets that last vital touch on the ball and then gets bought down and because its at pace the player who made the foul usualy gets booked. But and this is a huge but he is absolutely shocking at finishing, if he knew how to finish he would have scored about 15 goals already this season. Luckily finishing is something he can work on and i see him becoming one of the best most feared centre midfielder's in the game one day.
Nothing wrong with Rami's finishing; it isn't on Lamps' level, but it's not bad.
Maybe you could compare Gerrard and Lampard, but comparing either, let alone both, of them with Xavi is ludicrous at best.
I. But and this is a huge but he is absolutely shocking at finishing, if he knew how to finish he would have scored about 15 goals already this season. .
Same can be said for Gervinho he could have scored at least 2 yesterday![]()

Its just comparing their games, goals and assists thats all.
To what end? They fulfill different roles on the pitch, there's not much point comparing them.
