Assists and goals are something expected by all 3.

Not really. You don't expect goals from Xavi, and although you expect assists most of them will come from Iniesta. Barcelona play with a minimum of 2 and as many as 4 creative players, and Xavi is the deepest of them all. His attacking runs are an exception rather than a rule. Lampard, OTOH, is not a playmaker, and his runs into the box are his trademark.

No, it most certainly is not.

Its not great lets be honest, i can remember off the top of my head atleast 5 times him going through one and one and hitting the keeper. Both of his finishes against Swansea were quite poor finishes too. Im not knocking the lad because he is a fantastic player i just think the only area he needs to work on is his finishing. Oh and maybe his timing of tackling, its not great.

I said it wasn't bad; I'm not trying to claim it's great. His finishing is average (decent) and definitely not 'absolutely shocking'.

Its his worst attribute (that he needs/uses) for me, needs working on but like i said atleast it is something he can work on.

No, they're definitely not expected from Xavi. Xavi will play the pass that goes to the assister in most cases, which is just as important as the assist and goal, and most of the time he's too deep to get goals.

Wash your mouth out.

its funny how most people think we are going to meet Hulk's ridiculous £83.5million buyout clause. Yea, we(actually it was Roman lol) paid 50 mil for Nando but thats a completely different story ffs. get real.

He would not cost that much. Just because somebody has a clause it doesn't mean that that clause will have to be met for them to transfer. Hulk, IMO, would cost £30-40M, and at a complete maximum £45M (but I doubt we'd pay that much for him when there are players that are around his ability for cheaper, that are younger and have the potential to be one of the best).

Speaking of one; I did at first ignore these rumours because I thought there was nothing in it, but it seems that we are very interested in Lucas Moura. Last week Wagner Ribeiro said something about us being interested, but with some of the rubbish that he's come out with I thought it was better to ignore. But the rumours are becoming more frequent, and I can really see us getting Lucas. It looks like neither the club or the player himself want the transfer to happen (now), but if we bid the right amount and offer a good salary to Lucas then it could happen imo.

Now, in my opinion he's not as good as Hazard, Götze and Eriksen at the moment, but like all of those he has the potential to be one of the best in the world, whether or not he could adapt to the PL is unclear, but if he could then he would be a great player. I would rather the players mentioned earlier (not quite sure whether I'd prefer Eriksen over him though) but there's no point hanging around waiting for them if then they are just going to go Real or Barça (Hazard wants Real, Eriksen wants Barça and Götze wants Spain), so maybe it would be better to go for him. Even though IF we get Lucas it still wouldn't rule out the possibility, but it definitely decreases the already low chances of getting one of those too and it would mean Sturridge would either be dropped (which would be sad given how well he's playing, well or rotated, but I'm not sure he'd like that) or he could be moved to the striker position, which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if Nando doesn't start getting goals (though I still believe he can, if he does not we can't wait 2-3 years).

I don't by any means thing he will definitely come to us, but there's a decent chance (and I definitely don't think Hazard or Götze will, but I can dream...right?)

Xavi is the metronome, keeping the tempo of the whole side right.

Oh and apparently Cahill and Chelsea have compromised and he never asked for £120,000 a week (which is absolutely ridiculous). Waiting for Roman's OK. According to - https://twitter.com/#!/reluctantnicko We'll see soon enough though; if it's true then I'm sure there'll be some sort of confirmation in the next couple of days from OC or AVB because both have been open throughout.

Ludicrous to compare them. And Xavi is hands down better if you are to compare them anyway, and has always been. Lamps still one of the best over recent years, but they're both so, so different.

Yeah i though that it was his reps asking for high wages, and that he hadnt yet spoken to them?

Well, I don't see how he could even think anybody would pay those wages, so must have been his reps, well, that or just made-up by the media. Yes, I believe that only his reps talked to us and he had not done yet, not sure whether that's changed now or whether he's let his reps carry on, but I presume the main worry for him is/was game time because he obviously wants to be playing for England in the Euros and he doesn't have a good chance if he's not playing. For me he will/should be 3rd choice (and Ivanovic ahead of him, but I'd have him as 1st choice RB, so meansCahill ahead of him at CB) but even as 3rd choice he should get sufficient game time.

Tat in today's papers says he wants a guaranteed starting spot but I imagine that's just the usual agent bs.

I think I'd rather have Eriksen than Hulk btw.

You know I thought about posting what you just did but why waste words on a person who thinks he is above everyone!
