I'd rather have a clever defender tbh, someone like Thiago Silva who can get the best out of Luiz.
As for McEachran, he's got a lot of potential but he has to go out on loan this season and tbqh, I'd like to see him go out all next season as well. He needs the games and he's not going to be good enough to get in the first team for at least another year (or more likely 2/3). Wilshere is better than him atm, no one can possibly deny that but we can't tell whether or not they have the potential to be on the same level until we see Josh get a run of 20/30 games in. He does have the benefit of not being a total asshat though, so at least he's better than Wilshere at something.

Azpilicueta is being linked with by Daily Mail and Daily Mirror - certainly not the best sources, but I can see why AVB would want him; he's a good player and we definitely need a new RB. Interesting too because it's rumoured that Marseille want to get Kakuta on loan until the end of the season (though he still looks likely to join Dijon at this point), so that could be used as some sort of bargaining tool.

lol. I haven't watched loads of him, but he's a good player with potential to be one of the best right backs. He's pretty good all round, better defender than Bosingwa (lol - that's not hard), can put in good crosses, quick, great stamina; would definitely be a good signing, perfect age too. Playing a lot better now at Marseille - last year he got an injury that put him out for 4/5/6 months, but now he's in the team and has been performing well.
I think an independent commission ("the commission") should be set up to evaluate BlueHeart's remarks and establish whether there was any racism intended or not, and if there was to be determined that a racist insult took place, the commission - which should not have moderators in it's ranks - should also determine the kind and length of the punishment.

some transfer news for you all...
Kevin De Bruyne downplayed the likelihood of a January Transfer by saying he felt it would be better for him to stay at Genk till the end of the season and then leave although he refused to completely rule out the possibility of a move in January however considering he is CL cup-tied and is someone who will be spending a better part of his time on the bench in the immediate future if he does come, I hardly doubt he is one of our priorities... this move will likely be done in June
Also on the Lucas Moura transfer, again i doubt he will come before the summer because Sao Paulo want to keep him till then and considering that the finances of the Brazil Clubs are a lot better these days, its not like Sao Paulo are in any hurry to sell...however we have done business with Sao Paulo before (Piazon) and we have a good relationship with Wagner Riberio (his agent who is also Neymars agent) so any bid from us will certainly be looked on favourably
For those of you who dont know Lucas Moura...he plays a advanted central attacking role but likes to gravitate to the wings and vice-versa so no wonder we are high on him considering the fluidity he can offer us when deployed with someone like Juan Mata
He has sensational pace and change of direction and also brilliant dribbling skills although one aspect i find a bit of a downer is that in true brazilian fashion he has a lot of flair and likes to take people on rather than play the quick pass and move, some polish will be required there although it in no way means his passing skills suck, if anything they are sublime
He also has a eye for goal and is only 20
