Zidane will do everything in his power to sign Hazard, but Mourinho has the final decision. If Hazard joins them then chances are di Maria leaves because he won't settle for bench warmer (unless of course Real sign Hazard then not give him playing time and waste his talent) and I don't think Jose would want to lose di Maria. Agree on the second part though.
IMO Real are most likely to get him, but it's definitely possible that we could get him. I'd say we're 2nd favourites behind Real.
Nobody has shown that they are willing to pay what Lille want though (40ME) but if somebody does then they would let Hazard speak with the club. I'm sure they'd try and get him on loan until the end of the season though.
I've only seen reports that City are willing to bid and loan him back, but the reported bid isn't what Lille would want (I think they bid about £30M/30ME (not sure which)) so they have rejected it (presuming there has been a bid of course).
No, not at all. Similar, but I think that they would compliment each other very well. And I wouldn't say they're 'very similar' they're quite similar, but each have have different styles and qualities.
The bid that we're reported to have made is not enough. We're 10ME short of what they want, but it is a good start and if we make an acceptable bid then I think it could happen.
Overall, more likely that Hazard leaves in the summer (a LOT more likely) but then again in the summer there will be a lot more clubs in for him most likely.

This is the only thing I'll say about Eden because the prospect of him joining us is so amazing I don't want to think about it and be disappointed. We have a bit of an advantage over a lot of other clubs in terms of how important Hazard would be to us: if he goes to Real or City, he will be an important player but he won't be as vital to them as he would be to us.

Wonder how much QPR offered for Alex, because knowing that we agreed a fee of 7 mil for Gary and obviously Bolton accepted it, if the deal goes through, wonder if those 7 mil will be used immediately by Coyle. Maybe Alex will go the other way? On the other hand, knowing what Alex said about the 'need for something special to stay in England', maybe he will return to Brazil anyway..

well then better go other way to Bolton, like a swap deal. not that I care much where he goes but Bolton I hate less than QPR
dont know why it is taking so long, if it is a case of massive wages I feel there are many other cheaper and younger defenders out there who can do the job better than Cahill, if personal terms are not agreed by next week, we should pull out and go for other targets

I agree with you, whilst we do need a replacement for the departing Alex, I feel we can do a lot better than Gary Cahill... the only reason that we are not signing a young prospect is probably because we got many talented youth players in the centre-back such as Bruma, Kalas, Chalobah and Nathan Ake and AVB probably does not want to block their development by bringing in a young central defender

What I think is AVB is trying to convert David Luiz to DM and thats why hes buying Cahill to partner JT.. Again, thats only in my head, and there is a big chance to be wrong. However, if thats what hes trying to do, doesnt make any sense, cuz our best DM called ESSIEN is returning in less than a month + we have a hugely talented Oriol.

David Luiz cannot and will not ever play DM, Essien is also not our best DM i think that goes to a certain Mr Romeu. A team needs atleast 4 centre backs in my opinion and with Alex leaving we need one to replace him which will be Cahill. Ivanovic will more than likely play RB on a regular basis which is also a position i believe Luiz could do ok at but i still rate Luiz very highly as a CB.
nobody said we are paying him 100k a week, his wage demands are rumoured to be that high but thats all it is right now, just rumours... For all we know, it could be agent fees that is holding back the deal
And no point buying a young centre-back, we have more than enough talent in that area tbh, only that the youth players are still too inexperienced to make a breakthrough and we need a stopgap measure till they can
