Belgian Football Expert John Chapman has tweeted that it is likely Kevin De Bruyne will join Chelsea by the end of the week.

He also further tweeted that De Bruyne would spend the next 6 months on loan at Genk before being sent on a loan to an EPL club next season, Reported Fee is believed to be around 5-10m

Excellent deal and this comes from a very reliable source and Genk have also more or less confirmed that that deal is about to take place with Genk director Dirk Degraen already having flown to London to discuss a deal

"Dirk Degraen is in London and the expectation is that it (the transfer of De Bruyne) will be finished this week,'' a Genk spokesman said.

"The assumption is that Kevin de Bruyne will be transferred to Chelsea and then will finish the season (on loan) at Genk.''


All in All I feel we have secured the Young Belgian's signtaure

Also Lucas Moura's agent Junior Pedroso has stated that Chelsea have lodged a bid of 35m for him although he seems assured that Lucas Moura will stay at Sao Paolo until the summer at least

Only Chelsea and Inter have really shown serious interest in signing Lucas Moura and with this kind of bid, we pretty much blow Inter out of the water as well as a majority of top European Clubs

Hopefully we sustain our interest till the summer because Moura looks like an excellent prospect although for that kind of money, I still prefer someone like Hazard


And finally, Willian has stated his desire for a move to Chelsea..

"They have a culture of winning trophies and that excites me," Willian told ESPN.

"Chelsea are known as one of the biggest and most successful clubs around.


"To play for them is a challenge I would accept and enjoy.

Another deal in the works and hopefully will be completed this January

Lucas already snubbed an approach from Inter, saying he prefers to stay. Not convinced you'll be able to persuade him, either. Would be a good addition but like you said, for that kind of money you should go for Hazard.

I think Lucas wants to stay till the summer at least before thinking of a move but yes for 35m, i would go for Hazard

As GC pointed out, Lucas is a typical Brazilian Attacking Midfielder... lots of flair, creative and capable of moments of absolute genius but he hardly tracks back etc. Rather not take a gamble on him

He didn't snub Inter, he said he wont move till this summer.

I remember when Stoch was on loan at FC Twente and did brilliant and I was really looking forward to see in him in our first team but then I was gutted when he was sold.

Stoch along with Bornin were two players i thought we should have kept, everyone else i think we have been right to get rid of. Hopefull we can seal the deal for De Bruyne and Willian this week and that will be a very good window for us i think.

15 years ago today Chelsea gained a result which i think changed the club forever, this was when we started to believe we were a decent club and went on to win our first trophy in 27 years. On this day 15 years ago we beat Liverpool 4-2 in the FA Cup 4th round having being 2-0 down at half time. Now enjoy, well unless your a red mickey mouser.

That Zola shot... You'd expect him to either blast it or curl it right because of the defender coming in from the left. Instead he curls it left, just straight enough at the start to stop the block but with enough on it to swerve away from and over the keeper, straight into the net.

Well it's technically a loan, I think, but he's out of contract in the summer. I'd be very surprised if he returns to Chelsea.

He did confirm it on Twitter, but he's removed those tweets now. He's been hinting that he's moving for a while though.

Arghhh don't want Lucas, good player but can see him being another Robinho. Let him shine in Spain or Italy AVB.

Agree with Borini and Stoch, we made a mistake with those two. But not sure how you can think we made a mistake with those two but not Töre? Especially for for the price we let him go (think Arnesen said HSV paid nothing, but we get a big chunk of the next transfer, which could be 15-20M if it's soon, but in a couple of years it could be a lot more).

I watched him alot last season and really didn't think too much of him. I rate Lalkovic more highly than Tore.

Disagree, watch Töre now for HSV (well not now because he's injured, but y'nkow...) and you'll see how good he really is. IMO if he was at CFC and playing the way he does for Hamburg, then he'd be starting most games. But Lalkovic is very good and has played better in the reserves for us than Töre did, but Töre is better than him now, though when Lalkovic gets a chance I think that they would be just as good as each other.

Also, Shakhtar have commented on Willian to CFC again - Alexandru Spiridon: Negotiations between Shakhtar and Chelsea still ongoing | News | FC Shakhtar Donetsk official website

Lets be honest, no matter how good he was doing if he was still at Chelsea he wouldn't be anywhere near the 1st team. If Josh can't get minutes than no-one from our reserves/youth team will get minutes he would prob be out on loan. I thought watching him he blew hot and cold and seemed to make alot of wrong decisions, will say i haven't seen much of him this season though.
