Lets be honest, no matter how good he was doing if he was still at Chelsea he wouldn't be anywhere near the 1st team. If Josh can't get minutes than no-one from our reserves/youth team will get minutes he would prob be out on loan. I thought watching him he blew hot and cold and seemed to make alot of wrong decisions, will say i haven't seen much of him this season though.

The McEachran situation has nothing to do with this - you have pretty good players in central midfield, that's why he doesn't get games. However, when you're playing Malouda or Kalou it's not hard to see where Töre would fit in. He's been pretty darn good for HSV this season.

We do have pretty good players but i would say he is better or would be more influential in the way we play than both Mikel and Meireles.

Maybe, although he offers far less defensively than either of them. We'll see how he does for Swansea, though. In the mean time I can tell you that Töre is well above Malouda or Kalou at the moment and you could certainly do with him in your squad right now. That said, what's done is done.

Gabrielle Ambrosetti is well above Malouda and Kalou at the moment!!!!!

You are also one of the rare Chelsea fans who have seen Fernando Torres score live in a blue shirt ;) :p

The stadium was absolutely rocking after......then he got sentoff lol.

When he scored vs West Ham last season, the fans were just constantly singing his name for about 10 minutes after. Great moment.

Alex is more or less set to join PSG, reported fee is around 5m euros

So was me and my brother and we were at home lol.

Bargain if you ask me, will be one of the best centre backs in France without a doubt.

Agree without a doubt, seems like AVB was anxious to get rid of him, their relationship must have broken down beyond repair it seems

Now just waiting for Drogba to leave ;)

According to WhoScored.com, the most successful dribbler in the Premier League is... Ramires. I wouldn't have guessed that in a ******* lifetime. Thought you guys should know :P

Will be gone in the summer i think, don't get too cosy yet though we have Lukaku lol.

It is abit of a shock especially as you expect a winger to be the best but he does love a dribble and is very good at it. Most improved player i think.

And while we're at it, Gokhan Töre has the most successful dribbles per game ratio in Europe, with 6.3. Messi is second with 5.1.

Yep, knew that, didn't know about Rami though. This is why I was saying about Töre being able to walk into our team.

Very pleased for Alex to be at a good club and back with Carlo. Has been one of my favourites throughout his time at Chelsea, but for me, it was the right time for him to leave. It's a shame he couldn't leave under better circumstances though, but at least he's not at QPR :)

Well in his press conference he was asked a question in English (think it's the first time I've heard him speak English!) about why he left etc. And he replied "I had a problem with the coach - he don't like my football" then he said "I spend a lot of time off the bench, and I prefer to go to another club."

Feel sorry for him a bit, but these things happen in football.

I dont think Alex really wanted to take on the rotational role that AVB was offering him and was more inclined towards a first-team choice but AVB probably believed he did not suit our team tactically and decided to leave him out especially after his mistake vs West Brom

But then again Luiz has made far more mistakes, but I came across a few interesting quotes earlier ... will post them up as soon as possible, those quotes provide a glimpse into AVB's vision for Chelsea
