Just a few quotes I've read on other places.
Sorry if they offended you, even though I would love to know how they have..

Not offended me they are just poor that's all, not your fault as you didn't make them up.

Why would Jose join a team that won't be in the Champions league with an owner that once sacked him?

Oh. They made me chuckle :(

But in all seriousness, Who do you want to take over as Manager next season?
Jose is probably your favourite but besides him?

And you have inside information about Benitez and Chelsea? Unless Mou and Roman has kissed and made up, I doubt Mou would go back to Chelsea. Benitez is next best thing imo. Maybe even Capello.

Mourinho and Roman made-up quite a while ago. Benitez is in no way the "next best thing". When I watch Benitez as a pundit (ow whatever you want to call them) I think he talks a lot of sense, but I don't see him as somebody who will transform our club to the best in the world. Maybe he could do better with more money, but I'm unsure.

Anyway, I don't think I can out into words how gutted I am that AVB has been sacked. I loved him; the way he talks about football, his knowledge, his style, and he is the man I wanted in charge, but now he's gone :( Don't think I've been more disappointed (in life in general) since we lost to United in Moscow. And before that perhaps the only things that come close is Robben leaving, or Mourinho being sacked. We've just taken a MASSIVE step backwards. And Robbie, the man who has managed MK-Dons and WBA, is the man to take over him? Don't get me wrong; I LOVE Robbie, but if AVB was "out of his depth" what is Di Matteo? And I can safely say that I think in a year or two AVB will be right up there with Fergie, Mourinho, Pep, etc.

And whoever the next manager is - will he want to get rid of the "old-guard" and bring in new players who can play attractive football (which seems to be what Roman now demands, which is good because it's also what I want). Would Mourinho get rid of them? And the style of football he would play is unclear. And the players he would want is also unclear.

My first choice would most certainly be Pep. Whether or not he will stay is unclear, and although I think he will most likely stay with Barcelona, I wouldn't rule-out him leaving. And he certainly knows how to play good football, and bring through youth, but first he would definitely needs to dismantle the "old-guard" and bring in new players.

Others I would like are Rudi Garcia, Unai Emery or Jurgen Klopp. The first two I mentioned I discussed a month or so ago, and as mentioned then; Unai Emery is learning English and would be open to a move to the PL. Jurgen Klopp has just signed a new contract, I believe, but I wouldn't rule him out. Plus if we got Garcia or Klopp they might want to bring Hazard or Götze :)

I was going to say something else, but I've forgotten, but to summarise - I'd like Pep, Garcia, Emery, Klopp...or Mourinho depending on what his plans are for Chelsea.

I'm not fully convinced i want him or that he will even come. A lot of these older players who we have to get rid of have good relations with Jose so he won't find it easy to get rid of them. What if he dosen't hit the ground running will the fans then turn on the best manager we have ever had and dent his reputation at this club?? I'm not fussed who gets the job if im honest, wouldn't mind someone like Moyes to be honest.

Do not even go there :@ lol

Whoever takes over is pretty much irrelevant. It's like Russian (XD) roulette, do the players take to you or not is whether you keep your job..

So what are the odds on Di Matteo being sacked before the end of the season? lol

Lol sorry. One day he will get another job you must know that. He ****** well deserves it mate.

Oh without doubt. But as soon as you walk through the door at Stamford Bridge you've got pressure immediately. Not sure he'd be able to handle that sort of pressure. Even the best managers would struggle with it. They may not show it publicly, but it would be eating away inside without doubt. Still think he'll end up at a club like Spurs tbh.

The players can't go round picking and choosing who they are going to perform for. Think that the older players have acted disgustingly, and I feel for AVB.

Oh well, wouldn't mind him to take over when Wenger decides to retire.

Roman Abramovic never fails to baffle me.

He has 2 chances to get rid of some of these older players. Not just the players fault here.

do you think AVB had full control over transfers?

Chelsea should just play managerless, or let the players choose who they want - as if they don't like who RA next brings in, they'll force Roman into a corner and sack another manager.

Same Would love AVB as our next manager, brilliant manager :)

He was bought in to change this team over and make them more entertaining so yes i do believe he had a full say in transfers. Don't forget when he was bought in he said he didn't want to sell anyone because he wanted to give everyone a chance. If he knew/watched Chelsea last season he would know some of these players needed to be moved on straight away.

Well that was fast. Was about to say (this morning) that Im surprised AVB has survived last night, yet, couple of hours later he got sacked. Mixed feelings about it, not sure if I'm disappointed. Maybe in a way I am, because the guy has potential of being right up there with Jose Pep and (why not) SAF. But its unacceptable what he did to this club. Even Scolari wasnt that bad, let alone ANCELOTTI(him and Jose = best managers we've had). It was expected. He must have known what job he is taking, the hardest job in football probably. Well at least his bank account is fat now. Stupid Roman advisors. Thats why we will never win the CL, because people like that ruin our club. they know nothing about football whatsoever. None.

AVB will bounce back. No doubt. Oh yea, and appointing Robbie till the end of the season is, lets say, SILLY. And another thing, Jose aint coming back. Just saying. Better kill your hopes right now.
