I hope/think it will be Ferriera. And Anelka is only on the coaching staff, Jean Tigana is still there but they sacked some of his staff so Nico has taken up a player/coaching role.

Think its a bit classless and disrespectful to the managers in those jobs. One thing to say once, when asked by a journalist, but to keep popping up with it is a bit out of order.

EDIT: RE: The kit and colours - why is it gold? and before you say why do you associate it with winning something then why don't you say when you won the PL, why did you have a gold sleeve patch instead of the normal white one? It's like saying why do you associate red with anger.

Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice kit - much nicer than this years. Just annoys me that if Adidas can make something like that for you's, I wonder what they'd have done for us if we were still with them.

And the reason I associate it with those things is because usually gold is used on kits because of those things.. For example, In 2006-07 [I think] Chelsea had a blue and gold kit to celebrate their centenary.

Anyway, was just wondering, just glad we aren't with Adidas anymore.

lol the Torres queue is full already and I'm not even on the ****** train yet.
 
People can say what they want but I feel the squad is doing really well considering they have been competiting on 3 fronts which no other team in the EPL is and they are still within shout of 4th place. Not to mention how lousy our squad depth is as well and the fact that we rely on ageing stars. I am pretty sure we would be 4th or above if we only had the league to concentrate on.

Think we have a great chance of winning the FA Cup, Champions League is a possibility no matter how small. The fact that we got the last 4 with a squad everyone was saying is past it is a great feeling. We have a great chance to win the FA Youth Cup, another testemant to the fantastic array of Youth Talent we have.

So despite what people say, I do not think we are exactly too many years away from being at the top again. Yes issues such as the revolving door in the manager's office must be sorted out. Certain players need to be bought which we can easily afford, Certain players need to be sold. The squad needs to be refreshed.

Just saying that we need to look on the positives. Chelsea have a fantastic array of Yout Talent, a first team capable of reaching the last 4 in the Champions League. A owner who loves the club and is willing to invest in the squad. How many clubs can claim that? Its a long way from being happy to finish in the top half, the club we were in the pre-Roman era.

It's not doing great, don't compare it to a relatively unsuccessful season for everyone else. Also no way you can say you can be sure you would be 4th if you have only the league to concentrate on.

The fact that you rely on aging stars and have little depth is the fault of the club, something that's been pointed out for 3 season now. When SAF said the squad was too old, he was pointing out the fact that there was no next generation, no variation in the age group.

Its easy saying players need to be sold and bought, and the managers office needs be sorted. Actually doing it its much tougher.

Youth Cup means little unless the players actually make it into the first team. That's how you judge the success of your youth, those who get into your first team, or go on into the first team of other sides.

It's not about just the positives, its about the big picture.
 
This can be applied to all clubs though. For example we are looking alright for a 20th title. But we still have no answer to Paul Scholes, and our European performance this season was a disgrace.
