Dreaming a bit? :P

I can't see him taking another job at all until the start of the 2013-2014 season at the earliest. Not sure if he would be perfect either because last time AVB tried (perhaps not the same but similar style) it all went wrong.

We will probably break up the squad this summer one way or another. Plus if reports are to be believed, Pep will be given full control of the club allowing him to reshape it as he sees fir and implement a proper strategy. If we want someone who can take the club forward in the long-term, their is not better candidate than Pep

and there's no better gamble than Pep. Me personally? Dont want him. Why? Look at AVB. 'But AVB got all things wrong!' - True. But what makes you think that Pep wont? Let's not forget that AVB tried to apply wrong tactics\formations and failed BIG TIME (****, he even failed at making the right subs). AVB wanted to apply Barcelona's style - Oh.., his beautiful, so beloved Barca. Bollocks. You can't play like Barca in EPL and expect to win things. Call me when that happens.

You all must understand that there's no such thing as LONG TERM here at this club. Roman is in charge here, not Pep, not AVB, not RDM, not Jose, no-one. Not even the players, like some people think. Abramovich wants instant success, and not just success, but European success. It's his obsession.
Pep will not win anything in his first year - I'm 99,999999% sure. How do I know that? Well, I just do.

So yes, I dont want Pep for these reasons, hes achieved a lot, but you must understand that this is not Barca and La Liga. He cant do what he's done, and he cannot think that his so flashy and beautiful and amazing and astonishing and magnificent tiki-taka will be as successful as it was there. It cannot happen. It won't happen. ****, I dont even like that style.

And the sooner Roman understands that it's the wins that matter not the WAY you play (or the way you win), the better.

Did you even read that source? If you did then that comment makes no sense. He has better stats with his spell at Chelsea than RDM does, including average points per game etc.

Gimme a break, he was in charge 4 times longer than RDM and yet his stats are hardly better.

Some people just wanna hate !

Who are you? You dont know me I believe? I dont hate him, in fact I backed him almost till the end, so dont give me that ****. AVB failed, the sooner you get this, the better for you.

One question then, how have Swansea done so well in their first season of Premier League football with probably the worst or second worst squad in the league by a mile?

Well RDM had a gruelling fixture list with a very thin squad. He was forced to solve the problems AVB left behind such as ensuring we win the FA Cup replay and then overturn a 4-1 deficit in the Champions League. He had tough games against Barcelona, Arsenal, Benefica, Tottenham, Manchester City, Newcastle, Liverpool all in the space of a couple of months

What does that have to do with Chelsea playing like Barca?

Well if you can't win things "playing like Barca" type of way, then howcome Swansea have had such a successful season playing a similar way with one of the worst squads in the Premier League and they have beaten some of the big boys as well.

Of course that style would work with the right squad and implemented correctly. To be honest going back to AVB (because his style is similar to Pep's) he never had sufficient time to change the squad and bring in the players he wanted and put his stamp tactically on the club so we will never know. But I think that way of playing would probably be more effective for Barca in the Premier League than it is in La Liga, simply because the defenders in the Premier League are a lot more physical and it is easier to create space behind them.

You do understand that we're talking about a whole different and higher level of Barca-style, dont you? With all due respect to Brendan (I love this guy), Swansea are far from that style. They played some brilliant football this season though. But overall they play as a pure English team.

I know it is a different level of football..... but that "style" has been hugely successful for them and with better players like Chelsea possess and maybe a few in's and out's in the transfer window there is no reason that approach would not be successful, like I said in previous post English defences struggle to cope with movement and it would probably be more successful in this kind of League than it is in La Liga.

To be honest I do not get what way you see your club going, still boggles my mind how Roman could of been so stupid to sack Ancelotti.

Explain please, because thats bullshit.

Teams such as Napoli, Bayern Leverkusen, Villareal, Marseille and Inter Milan will not be in the UCL next season. That means that if we do qualify there are some very interesting players we should be looking at. Azpilicueta from Marseille would be a very good signing to start things off. Quality Right-Back.

Andre Schurrle from Bayern Leverkusen is someone else we ought to be looking at. Cavani/Lavezzi/Hamsik would also be availiable

Lavezzi's the only one that's 'available', I think.

Azpilicueta should definitely be strongly considered. Schurrle is someone we should look at along with a few other options, then see which is the best option, in terms of fee, wages, ability, potential, etc.

the basics are still there, the English culture (if you will) of defending is still there. If you watch more than 50% of their games, you will tell that they are far from that Barca-style.

Same. Sometimes I think Roman is just an idiot with lots of money. The funny thing is, he is far from being an idiot. In fact he is quite intelligent. He just doesnt understand football.

I loved/still love Ancelotti. The man was fantastic, easily my #2 all-time favourite Chelsea manager. We all know who #1 would be. haha

Nope, i've watched a lot of their games this season. Caulker and Williams both play out from the back, they very much play the 'tika-taka' style of football. Clearly play the Barca-style, but with far lesser players.

Thats why, everyone thinks there rubbish so no one buys them so high morale. Name a trylu rubbish player in first team.
