Oh yeah, Chelsea's best chance is to hope to beat them tactically. Psychology doesn't work on Germans. I do fear that Bayern's attack is too strong, but defensively, they are very weak. Drogba needs to rise to the occasion, as he so often does.

I've got a cheeky double on Chelsea & Blackpool to win :D

And with their gaffer saying "he is a good actor" will only spur him on even more.

One final heroic performance from him is needed, think this may very well be his last game no matter what happens as Chelsea are not too keen on renewing his contract.

Think I might join you on that one... Still, I might go for Bayern & Blackpool, hmmmm. ;)

Both could easily end in draws after 90 mins, but I think there will be goals. I think the odds for the 'underdogs' are great really, they should both be tight games that could go either way

Wonder if someone will steal our boots as well.

although there is a lot of things i dislike about SkySports listening to Souness (when Liverpool are't involved), Redknapp and Neville is a pleasure, they really are clued up.

Didier Drogba: The Chelsea striker is unplayable | Mail Online

Sensational article from the Mail of all people.

A line from Jamie Carragher if you can't be bothered to read it all.

'As a defender, if a player scores against me, I usually think there is something I could have done,' said Carragher. 'Even if it's Robin van Persie or Wayne Rooney, I'll identify a position I could have taken up, I'll think I could have got tighter or dropped off, I'll identify the flaw that let them in.
'The only different ones are Drogba and Henry. You replay a goal and, sometimes, there was nothing that could be done. If Chelsea get the ball on to Drogba's chest on the edge of the box and he can bring it down and turn, well, that's it. You can't get round him without fouling him, it's too late to get in front of him, you just have to hope he misses the shot. The same if he leaves you behind to go one on one with the goalkeeper.

The last time Atletico won the league Bayern lost the champions league final and Blackpool got promoted. Which is why I threw a tenner on the double :D. Although I have backed Bayern from the beginning of the tournament. Love their team.

John Obi Mikel came out and said last week that he was in the dark over why he had been dropped by AVB despite being a regular starter under Carlo Ancelloti. AVB never explained to him his decision.

Also he emphasized the difference between RDM and AVB

Now Robbie speaks to everyone and treats everyone the same,' Mikel says of current life at Chelsea, ' and I am grateful to Robbie as not only did he give me the chance but he believes in me, and I am happy to give him everything I have, and make sure the team keeps winning.

AVB needs to have a serious look at his managerial style before he takes another job. As Mikel basically said, a manager who treats the players well and respects them at the end of the day gets the full support of everyone and the players are more than happy to play under him either on the bench or on the pitch

I still think Mikel is a poor player and the only reason you choose him because you have no alternatives for his position, apart from Romeu (who isn't very good that is why Barca got rid) and Essien (lost it completely).

AVB went 50 games unbeaten for Porto and won loads, I doubt AVB lacks respect for his players, the fact he had to sign a 'Non-Disclosure agreement' kinda sums up that something was happening underneath the surface. At the end of the day Chelsea have been through so many managers it is probably a good thing for AVB that he did get sacked, I mean you have had Ancelotti (who in my opinion is one of the best) and sacked him for finishing second in the league despite winning the double the year before.

Even if RDM gets a permanent contract with Chelsea to be manager (which I don't think he will). Will he bring success every season for Roman, no he won't so it will be RDM sacked next year even if he is still the manager. The fact you criticise AVB is laughable considering what he has achieved already and you should look at your own club and how many top class managers you have hired and then fired. AVB had six months to try and build something new at Chelsea, what a joke.

You think Romeu isn't very good because Barca got rid? Obviously haven't even watched him play and of know that Barca put a buy back clause in the deal. You obviously haven't watched Mikel under RDM either.

I have watched Romeu play, nothing to shout about, does not seem anything special. Mikel fills the gap in RDM's formation, that is about it, of course he is going to play when Essien has lost it and Romeu is still learning the game. In my opinion Mikel is just poor and AVB realised that.

Mikel has been one of Chelsea's more consistent players over the last few months and has improved on what he usually performs like. Also in the first half of the seaso when picked Romeu was looking good and was putting in some very good performances better than what Chelsea ans were expecting of him in his first season.

I know, he is an anti-footballer. I hate him, wish he was gone with AVB.
