RDM surely isnt a proven longtime manager. But then again, who is? I don't think SAF is up for the job, Guardiola is on vacation, and Roman already fired Ancelotti and Mou.

Did you just say SAF?

I am just considering whether he is the right man full time for the managerial position at Chelsea. I can have an opinion this is the whole point of the thread.

...yes. I know. I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, I'm just pointing out why your opinion has more holes than a colander.

The issue isn't, and in my view shouldn't be Di Matteo's on pitch approach. he was right to be pragmatic in the CL (the league is a different issue mind).

This guy is sick. If Drogba leaves, this guy will be the perfect replacement.

Exclusive Torres interview with Guillem Balague is not good reading of you want to keep him!

Just a few of them tweets i have picked out (2nd and 3rd go together)

Guillem Balague ‏@GuillemBalague
Torres: ...because the role I’ve had this season is not for me, nor is it the one I expected to play when I came here. I’m not comfortable

Guillem Balague ‏@GuillemBalague
Torres: I need the club to tell me what is going to happen and what sort of role I will have within the team, what my duties are...

Guillem Balague
‏@GuillemBalague

Torres: ...what the club expects of me. And then judge whether it is worth it.

Guillem Balague ‏@GuillemBalague
Torres: "but I’ve had to spend the final on the bench. It was a huge disappointment when I saw the line-up, perhaps the biggest in my life"

If Drogba leaves he will most certainly be number one choice striker if we dont sign a new one. But if he does leave wont be too disappointed he hasnt exactly set Chelsea alight most games he has started.

I expected the Torres stuff, I never thought he was too happy. Wouldn't be surprised if we parted with Torres and kept Drogba, backwards steps.

Lampard telling the microphone man to say unlucky Tottenham made me giggle.

Usual stuff about him re joining Liverpool surfacing, we can't afford him however will be interesting if he does move who it will be too, and who Chelsea bring in... Especially considering Drogba could be leaving aswell

Well Chelsea have a choice, Drogba or Torres, one has got 5 more years, one has probably got one last season.
