I didnt expect that from him. I am disappointed to be honest. I loved the guy, have supported him for 18 months, since his arrival, and he says all that stuff.. Gutted.

Well Chelsea have a choice, Drogba or Torres, one has got 5 more years, one has probably got one last season.

Or sell both and get in someone like Falcao. Seriously not sure why Torres is complaining. Did he really expect to have a major role and play the final after the form Drogba has been in. He will be number one when Drogba leaves which is probably this summer anyways

Awesome Picture

I have a feeling the quotes may have been worked a bit which is rather unlikely but still... Firstly Torres apparently said he 'expected to start' the final. Not sure why considering that Drogba was in great form and it was unlikely that Di Matteo would move away from his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation

Then Torres says he 'wanted to take a penalty'... not sure why he suddenly feels the urge to take one considering he never takes penalties and he was disappointed when the club refused. Sounds funny because why on earth does he suddenly want to take the penalty considering he has never volunteered before

He did praise the fans and owner for sticking by him but looks like he wants to play a bigger part next season. He has only himself to blame for his bit-part role this season though but he should be our main striker next season if Drogba leaves which looks likely

Wrong. He has no service whatsoever. How is he supposed to score? Not entirely his fault. If we do bring Modric, Hazard (even though he said he'd go to Manchester), and with Marin already there, Mata as a trequartista behind Torres, Torres can start scoring again.

___Mikel_____Modric__
_Marin__Mata__Hazard_
_______Torres________

^ would be fantastic.

Cant blame a guy for wanting to play, would you rather have another Bogarde?

Torres hasnt helped himself either even though at times he hasnt got service e.g his open goal miss, red card when he was just hitting form, not shooting when his had opportunities etc.

My dads just said to me do I think Drogba's the greatest Chelsea player ever, he saw Osgood and the like and he thinks so. Thoughts?

Special mention to the bloke who was slating Mikel pre game. Him and Lamps were the best players on the pitch bar Ash Cole.

And btw I was also in Munich. Didn't get tickets though but where I was as the place was called English gardens and there was over 20k Chelsea fans, and when dider scored the header the place went mental they smashed over 5tvs haha

I admit he had a great game, but I stick to what I said, as it is my opinion. Even the pundits after the game said they did not know Mikel could produce a performance like that, so I am not the only one who thinks that. Got to remember as well though, it is a lot easier playing in that position when you are stuck in shape inside your own half for nearly the whole match.

We may beat Manchester City and United to get Hazard- Abramovich is willing to offer crazy wages for him. Would be great to have him, especially since right now, Lille are beating Nancy 4-1- Hazard scoring 3.
Hazard, Mata, and Marin behind Torres (If he stays) would be very good.

"Good engine"

Julian Dicks once said that Lampard needed to go to the Euros ahead of Carrick because he had a "good engine". I wanted to reach through my TV and punch him in the throat.

Interesting to see where Chelsea go, while they will want to savour their victory, they wont have too much time, since other clubs are already preparing for next season, need to make a decision on their manager or be left behind.

I hope Roman has a chat with Hazard, although it is too soon I guess.

Most of them, not all.

That's true. If you were listening/reading Michael *** or Jonathan Wilson and they expressed surprise that Mikel did well, then I retract my statement. Otherwise, no.
