50 mill for Hulk? Got to laugh at Roman... Porto must be laughing their heads off if they get that amount for him.

Even so...

For that sort of money I'd rather get Modric and Moses. Ramires on the right with Sturridge and Moses rotating sounds great.

Why laugh? He and the club has the money so why not! Of course Porto will be happy because that is what they do, they bring players over make them into great players and sell them on for a huge fee.

Well if the above story is true then clearly not as it says they want €65m while Chelsea are offering €50m.
 
Judge a players transfer fee once you have seen them play many times for the club they have joined. Many many people thought Mourinho was an idiot for spending £24 mil on a near enough unproven and unknown Didier Drogba once apon a time..

I still think we will be looking to add Modric as well.

We do not need Hulk but he will be a upgrade on Daniel Sturridge who may want to move if we do sign Hulk. So Hulk's transfer fee could well be subsidized by a Sturridge sale

I would love Victor Moses as well.. Cheap and could well become a star. If he does not cut the mustard at the top level, we do not lose much. But again things are rarely if ever done sensibly at this club.

Whatever said and done though, Roman means business

Oh and the Hammersmith and Fulham Council have again expressed their strong desire to see Chelsea remain at Stamford Bridge and are willing to open discussions with the club to explore possible avenue's to expand the stadium. Cannot see anything come out of it though, we have already hired two firms who have said it will not be cost-effective to expand the Bridge to 60,000 seats and I cant see the Council doing much to improve that problem

Still sore at missing out on Battersea. That could have been a great stadium with the 4 chimneys

Quite happy to see Sturridge join Liverpool if you lot are happy to see him go. I've got no doubt Hulk will "Smash" the league up. Don't quite get the fascination with Moses (similar optimism over him on our forum), particularly when you have the aforementioned Sturridge, who is a similar and better player.
