Yer i can't believe that im afraid. I don't think Utd would have signed two attacking players unless they were going to get rid of someone like Nani etc.

If you say so. Ferguson personally met and spoke with Kagawa in person and were in negotiations with Dortmund long before the Hazard deal was concluded.

The reason that's hard to believe is that if you got both Hazard and Kagawa... Where will you get the money for a World-Class CM and a back up LB

Well we will both have opinions about it, to me it seems as if Kagawa was the fall back option. A very good one of that i will admit.

Also I honestly hope the Jovetic Rumours are true.... The more I think about it, the more I rather have him over Hulk

Elaborate

No manager in the league's history has done what he has with the budget he has used. Consistent top 4 finishes, FA Cup success, League success. He has brought Arsenal into their most successful stage in their history. He has got them into possibly the finest stadium in the country in those years too. He's built the team from scratch and unearthed some of the finest players to grace the Premier League, not to mention the entertaining football they played whilst doing this. In 8 years Chelsea spent 351m+ City 400m+ Liverpool 150m+ and United 130m+ in comparison he spent around £40m. He won a trophy much sooner than Ferguson did, he revolutionised both the onfield and offfield ways of English football and essentially put the standard in place that we see today. This is everything from the football played to the off field behaviour of players (re: fitness, alcohol, food etc.).

Well, that's a quick explanation, I'm sure you could find many articles about the topic on the internet.

To say he is not in their league is quite frankly ludicrous.

Kagawa was reasonably cheap and will pay for himself in shirt sales. We can afford someone in the price range of Fellaini in addition to those, which would be all that was needed. I sincerely doubt we'd string Kagawa and Dortmund along, and that Kagawa would have rejected numerous other clubs for United if we only wanted him secondary to Hazard.

Germany manager Joachim Loew said Roman Abramovich visited his team today and had a long chat with Schweinsteiger about UCL final

If not Modric then i would love Schweiny!

Utd were the only side who made an approach for Kagawa.

Other clubs were in talks, but we were the first to make a formal approach for him, and he stated that after talking with us he felt that we were the club he wanted to go to.

I seriously think the shirt sales thing is overrated because I live in the Far East and I don't see the kind of craze over Park Ji Sung for example but I have not seen any actual figures or something to back up my statement but I am just commenting from what I have seen

But i also think his more recent negatives and stubbornness have made people think very differently about him. It has also made Arsenal be the 3rd/4th best team in the country and not higher if he had been less stubborn. If he didn't have any money to spend then yes fair enough but he does. He is still a great manager but behind and way behind Jose and Fergie i believe.

Also our Champs League win paid for Hazard plus change anyway so ha lol.

That is really interesting if true... Although I doubt Schwiensteiger will come. He is a true Bavariam and very loyal apparently

He's not an ipod, shirt names are hardly a craze you tend to notice. Ronaldo makes vast sums in shirt sales for Madrid, you could go to Spain or any country in the world where Madrid are big and you'd be hard pressed to spot a 'craze' in the street.

It's more home country where they become a hero to alot of people, like Dong for United.

Well Ronaldo shirt sales reportedly paid back the £80m transfer fee within 1 year of him being a Madrid.
