Fiorentina will gouge Chelsea if they make a move, irreplaceable player, pretty much the only reason they finished where they did and his new contract has a 40m euro release clause. I suspect Jovetic will see what the club can do in terms of going forward, but he is young enough not to need a move now, still learning.

I agree with you here but I don't think Fiorentina will ask for a unreasonable sum of money. They will push us for every penny but ultimately if Jovetic does not want to commit to them, they will let him go amicably ... Let's see what happens as the Man himself is still on holiday

He criticised your bid which is perfectly reasonable, the only people he's painting as villains are agents.

I was not on about him criticising our bid. Will post the relevant quotes which I was talking about later as I am on my IPad ...

Now that I'm done with the national team, my attention should switch to the transfer window.

I've heard a lot of offers are on the table. First of all, Wigan have the final say, but for me, the highest bidder would take the day.

But right now, I'm still a DW faithful.

Victor Moses

Read into this however you want. Its pretty certain Moses is keen on a move

Sound like he'll be right at home in Chelsea then lol!

Chelsea are reportedly scouting Czech Republic's Theodor Gebre Selassie tonight, as they search for a new right back.
The 25-year-old Slovan Liberec fullback has caught a number of clubs' eyes during a Euro 2012 tournament in which he has impressed greatly.
Though he has never played outside his own country, Gebre Selassie is considered a better bet by many observers than the far more experienced Ajax and Holland right back Gregory van der Wiel - who has looked defensively suspect.
Chelsea released right back Jose Bosingwa shortly after the Champions League final.

Was just about to post this. No doubt many club scouts will be watching the Euro Games keenly and being linked to a player no one has heard off till he performed well at the Euro's is nothing new either. Even then I have been impressed by Selassie.

Athletic full-back. Used to be a marathoner apparently. Great physical attributes. Not much else to say tbh as I did not observe him particularly when I watched Portugal games but will do so today. Plays in the Czech Republic League so its likely he will be moving this summer after his impressive performances, whether he is capable of playing at the top-level consistently is another matter.

Wouldn't be surprised. He was always quite ambitious, but I'm sure he'll take care to leave the right impression. He's a nice lad: refused to leave Palace for a pittance of a transfer fee when we were near administration due to the fact that we needed the money.

Was just watching vids of our CL win as I kill time ahead of the Euro match and I just gotta lol at how Bosingwa is always at the forefront of every celebration ... Think Joey Barton tweeted about this as well. Something about fringe players moving out of the way and allowing the key players to be at the front

Yeah I remember him saying something like that was the worst celebration ever.

Chelsea to play friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion on 4th August. Gus Poyet :D

Also Juan Mata not going for US tour. He has been named in Spain's Olympics squad. Daniel Sturridge not going on tour either. Think this has been mentioned before but De Bruyne and Lukaku will be going on tour and the decision to send them out on loan or not will be taken after the tour.

Heard rumours that Courtois might come before rejoining Atletico Madrid but I doubt that.

Oh yeah David Luiz might not be going either :(

Trying to find out if Oriol Romeu is going for the Olympics or US Tour. Anyone has any ideas?

Pre-Season Schedule:

-18th July – Chelsea vs Seattle Sounders, CenturyLink Field, Seattle

-22nd July – Chelsea vs Paris Saint-Germain, Yankee Stadium, New York

-25th July – Chelsea vs MLS All-Stars, PPL Park, Chester

-28th July – Chelsea vs AC Milan, Sun Life Stadium, Miami

-4th August- Chelsea vs Brighton and Hove Albion, Amex Stadium, Brighton

Community Shield on 12th August against Manchester City at Villa Park. Rather congested summer with the Euro's and Olympics so our players might only have a couple of weeks at best and one full game to gel before the Man City game.

Can anyone tell me if Bruma & Mancienne went out on loan last year or if they were sold? Would expect them and Nats C. to feature in the pre-season.

Also Piazon, McEachran, Lukaku, Hutchinson, Kalas?, Bamford?, De Bruyne, Blackman and Maybe Feruz should all feature IMO.

Mancienne is not a Chelsea player anymore. Bruma is on loan at Hamburg for another season so he probably will not go on tour but do pre-season with Hamburg

Kalas is also probably going to extend his loan at Vitesse so he is a another one we will have to wait and see

Would expect to see Chalobah, Piazon and Hutchinson getting some minutes though. De Bruyne will be playing a key part along with Lukaku.

Chelsea fans should probably expect a front 4 of...

--------------------------Torres/Lukaku----------------------------
---Marin-----------------Hazard/Piazon-----------De Bruyne----

Are you going to watch any of them in the stadium? Pretty good matches there tbh... Chelsea vs AC Milan, Chelsea vs PSG and Chelsea vs MLS All Stars

I'm going to Florida so the only possible one I could go to is the Chelsea- AC Milan match. Very unlikely I'd go but you never know ;) I'd feel dirty going to watch Chelsea :P

Artist Impression of Chelsea's proposed stadium at Battersea. Looks ******* sexy. Really hope the Malaysian Developers pull out. A 60,000 seater stadium will be a massive massive boost to our finances. Not to mention Battersea would probably be one of the most iconic stadiums in the world opening up other commercial possibilities: Concerts etc.

Best thing is that we can spend as much money to build it and it wont hurt our chances to comply with the FFP. We could do something really good with the site

Hulk to Globo Esporte: I have four more years of contract. If a good offer comes, I might leave. Otherwise I'll see out my contract. #CFC

Nando's stats for the past season;

Appearances: 32+17
Goals: 11
Assists: 18
Minutes on pitch: 3,241

Doesnt look too bad at all. :)

Not fantastic but good enough especially when you consider he had been dropped for a while in the middle and had to undergo another managerial change mid-season. On the plus side, he looked a changed man under Di Matteo so signs for next season are good

Plus his stats indicate his performances are nowhere near as bad as the media likes to project.
